Nel and Lorne are absolutely fantastic ppl! Their place is clean, easy to reach, close to a lot of attractions (also right on the beach- we saw a seal on one of the days!), supermarkets and a great playground are just 10 mins drive. very comfortable beds. Great shower. kitchen has everything you would need for a short or a long stay. above all, Nel and Lorne are fantastic hosts. We felt right at home. Nel baked fresh bread for us ! She even invited our kids for breakfast one of the days ! She especially came down to let us know about the seal swimming in the ocean right in front of the house. extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts! we can't recommend their place enough! we will surely be back :)

Loved this homely comfortable unit. Well maintained and clean. The balcony offered ever changing views of the Derwent. The below beach was an added bonus. Good location, close to casino, coffee and shops. Looking forward to going back.

This is by far the most aesthetically pleasing space we have ever rented. Great attention to detail in all of the finishes, state of the art technology/appliances and extra fun touches (like outdoor tub/see picture on site.) Hosts were very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay. The harbor views are amazing and the Battery Point area is superb with restaurants, shops and groceries/fresh seafood in walking distance. The penthouse exceeded our expectations (comfortable, quiet, private) and we would happily rent it again.

Superb place on the riverfront.

We had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful and set in a beautiful bush area, lots of privacy and with the mountain backdrop yet just a couple of min walk from shops and cafes. Host was responsive, house is fully equipped and pristine, the lovely garden area gets the morning sun. I would recommend it to anyone going to Hobart, perfect location host and house!

Having that beautiful bay at the front door really was spectacular. Positioned toward the end of a quiet culdesac and right across the Rd from the water, made for a relaxed and peaceful stay for our little family. Having the kids dvd’s was a winner for our kids to enjoy some relax time after big day. We wanted to stay longer for the amazing location that it was!

This place is amazing! Easy check-in instructions, very detailed walk through on where to go and how to get there. The unit was honestly a 2min walk to the beach and a short stroll to the nearest restaurant and the general store. The area was nice and quiet and although attached to a unit next door, we heard nothing from them. Would definitely stay here again.

My aunts spent their night at Farida’s property. There was a little hiccup with the check in, but thankfully resolved quickly! Farida is an extremely responsive host, property was stunning and exactly like the photos! Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a place near the airport!

We stayed for two nights and it wasn’t long enough!! Such a beautiful home to use for our holiday, we thoroughly loved every minute! Worth every dollar!!

If I could have given Mandala 10 stars I would have. The house is beautifully located and the surrounds are natural and peaceful. There is a walking track right across the street that is gorgeous. Wina’s house is charming spacious and warm- it encourages the gathering of loved ones, the creation of beautiful food, conversations,laughter and love. We loved the games shed and the grass with benches for our Finska competitions. The kids loved the playhouse. Every single one of us had a wonderful time and loved the house. Thanks Wina!

Really lovely place to stay. We booked in order to visit van Bone but were blown away by the beautiful, peaceful setting, amazing wildlife ( in house echidna and kookaburra family). It was perfect. Also really well stocked house, great library and telescope.

Our stay at the Bruny Boathouse was fantastic - beautiful location matched by a beautiful house (the interiors are just gorgeous). We loved the outdoor bath and shower (after a nice cold swim in the Tasman Sea) and the goodie box we received to enjoy. Would recommend highly!
