The property was very inviting and animal friendly for our three dogs.

This cabin at Bear Beach is where you want to stay! The location is very private with beautiful views right on the water. The home is warm and inviting, fully stocked with everything you need…and the sauna is a HUGE plus to have. It was the perfect evening activity after a long hike to relax and loosen up. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Beautiful location, absolutely stunning and peaceful. The host has instructions clearly laid out with multiple great recommendations. We didn’t bring our dogs but they are very well prepared for your furry companion with a nice fenced in yard, lots of outside toys and even a bed for them to rest in when the fun is over.

Christy's house was clean, comfortable, extremely well provisioned, and was a wonderful setting for our extended family Thanksgiving. Though we live in coastal Maine, we were awed by the incredible views from the living room and especially enjoyed evenings around the campfire. Our granddaughters loved running on the sand beach. One of the finest stays we've ever enjoyed.

I chose Michelle’s cottage because I wanted to be right on coast of ME. And everything-location, cottage, hosts FAR exceeded my expectations. Crossing the creek during low tide was less intimidating under Rose’s superb direction. Cottage had everything needed; was extremely comfortable; quaint and charming!!! PERFECT!!! Lucked out with spectacular sunny, warm weather for mid October. Only one day overcast! Appreciate being able to bring my pup! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful! Enjoyed walking the coast 3-4 times a day with pup! Spoiled by morning visits from grazing deer. Had fun collecting treasures from the sea! Rose was phenomenal and I appreciated all her help and suggestions. Carefully crossing the creek during low tide less intimidating under Rose’s careful guidance. Absolutely LOVED every second there. Am so grateful I got to enjoy and appreciate this slice of heaven. Definitely would recommend. Well worth the 6+ hour trip from my home. Look forward to returning.

We had an amazing stay at the Mermaid Mist! It was the perfect retreat for our 10 year anniversary. Everything is fresh & new but also ALL the details are there & thought out. Felt right at home! Kazzie is very responsive & truly wants her guests to have a great stay. She was very helpful with recommendations & tips! We loved the location as it was a short drive from restaurants but just right at an hour to bar harbor & Acadia National Park. Schoodic point was a 15/20 minute drive. We absolutely recommend Lunch on the Wharf if they’re open/in season.. WOW. What a gem! Just a quick 7 minute drive. The house is STUNNING right on the water. We loved walking the beach during low tide. The view & location on the water was our favorite. So peaceful. We also loved the fire pit. Sitting out by the fire at night & listening to the ocean water.. not sure it can get more peaceful than that! The rental is for the walk out basement level, no one upstairs. Felt very private. Can’t recommend enough!

This has been one of our favorite Airbnb stays to date- we were looking for a place to relax and unwind for vacation, and this was the perfect spot. Gorgeous waterfront view, fantastic communication from the host, complimentary snacks, quiet and peaceful environment. Make sure to stock up on food before driving out there, because it is about 35 minutes to the nearest grocery store. It’s a little less than an hour to Bar Harbor and the main part of Acadia National park, which we didn’t mind. We went at the very end of April/beginning of May and it was perfect- peak season hadn’t quite hit for Bar Harbor, so several stores and activities were still closed, but we had almost every main attraction to ourselves for at least a little while. I am 26 weeks pregnant and didn’t want to do strenuous hikes, and nearly everything you want to see you can drive to and hike less than a mile to get there. It was perfect. Highly recommend this location and these hosts.

This is such a serene little getaway. I enjoyed the amazing view at sunrise and sunset! Everything i needed was there, even binoculars, i enjoyed some seclusion and beautiful walks on the beach. I didn’t defeat the rain to get my fire going but I tried hard. 🤣 The hot tub was awesome. I can’t wait to come back!!
