The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Relax with the family in our conveniently located home. We purchased and remodeled this 1930's bungalow keeping as many original features as possible. What started out as hobby, paired with Gothenburg's need for affordable lodging, has blossomed into a way for us to raise a little extra money for our daughters college fund. This is a great place to relax on the deck, splash in the lake, take a paddle boat or kayak ride, and enjoy an evening around the fire pit. There is on-premise parking and a boat dock available too. Quick access to the boat ramp at Lakeshore Marina, the walking and bike trail, Nautical Rose....and of course the beautiful lake!

This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home is centrally located close to downtown, parks, schools, dining, golf course and museum. 711 house has a full kitchen, nice size dining room and a comfortable living room to relax. Enjoy the large deck that is shaded by trees or the covered front porch. Off street parking available in the back or on street in front. Newly remodeled and ready to go.

The Shop House

Finally, somewhere to stay in Bertrand Nebraska - Unique property. It is a shop house (or Barndominium). loft-style living room over 2 bedrooms, one bath. Living room seats 12, dining table sits 8+2 at the island. The rest of the building is the owners own space, but can be utilized if there is a need. Options for washer & dryer + second bathroom are available. Great for family gatherings or visits, executive overnights, hunting or whatever brings you to town.
