A tranquil spot. Located beside 3.5-acre Lake Tranquility (private) with a deck overlooking a horse pasture, and swans ... a great place for a peaceful getaway. Upstairs from the family room is a loft with twin beds and small office. Electric heating and air-conditioning make it very cozy. A queen-sized bedroom on the first-floor, the kitchen, the bathroom with shower, and a personal laundry room make it nice for a multi-night stay. The living area is directly above horse stalls in the basement.

Secluded along the banks of the Slippery Rock Creek is the 4th generation family cottage, fully renovated in 2017, originally built in 1940. Descend the 45 steps to the cottage and find “there’s no place like (a 2nd) home”. From the wraparound deck you may see geese, deer, bald eagles, osprey, beaver, great blue heron and ducks. You will find yourself just 15 minutes from Moraine and McConnells Mill State Parks. 15 minutes from Mines and Meadows, 10 minutes from Sunset Ranch.

Some notable features of this home are the large yard, handmade pergola and fire pit, and small lake with Bass and Catfish which provide the perfect setting for outdoor fun.

The Cozy Studio

Cozy, private studio above our garage in Ellwood City's Ewing Park area. Studio is furnished with full bed, pull out futon, air conditioner, refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, & keurig + coffee pot. TV has access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, & Cable. Other apps available to login. Approx 650 sq ft. Private parking and entrance. Fire pit available as well for use in the fall and summer upon request. No pets. No laundry hookup, but laundromat close by.

The Camera Stop

Open and bright private apartment located in the Fox Chapel area. Entire apartment was recently remodeled with all new furnishings and fixtures. We are located only 20 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh and 15 minutes to Heinz Field, PPG Paints Arena, and PNC Park. This area is close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores and the PA Turnpike. The Great Escape

As one of our guests noted: “This home is named perfectly. It was a great escape." We invite you to stay in our small but cozy house in the very quiet "Pittsburgh Circle" area of town. The property backs onto a greenbelt - down a sharp embankment you can see the Connoquenessing Creek - which you can enjoy from the covered patio or the breakfast table in front of the large window. We have seen deer, groundhogs, hawks, and even a bald eagle!
