You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Escape to our nature-inspired A-frame, tucked along the banks of the Coulonge River. Choose your adventure—whitewater rafting, golfing, hiking, or simply unwind with a glass of rosé in the hot tub or by the river. Whether for a family getaway or a friends’ retreat, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect. The Bunkie overlooks our main cottage. Enjoy the wood stove, wifi, a comfy queen sleigh bed & bunk bed. DVD’s, books & board games available. Fully automatic compost toilet & each room has wall heaters. Kitchen has: fridge, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, one burner induction cook top. Fresh water dispensers above the sinks. No running water in winter. Private outdoor hot tub No shower. We are here year round stoking the fires & look forward to hearing from you soon!

Cozy cottage on the hill overlooking the lake with a living space that offers a unique vibe with it's cathedral ceiling, fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows. Newly renovated bathroom. The two bedrooms accommodate 4 guests comfortably. We have high-speed wireless internet, satellite and Roku TV. All essentials supplied. Hiking, bicycle, ATV and sled trails along with ski hills are all within short driving distance. Your dog is welcome here! Winter tires needed on snowy days.

The Meadow

Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. We pay all Sales and Income taxes to the prov/fed governments).

Lots of availability throughout the winter and spring: 2-night minimum stay. Please note: Summer bookings (June - September) are only available as weekly bookings between Monday to Sunday as our cleaning and landscaping staff are pre-booked for the season. 2-night minimum September to May. Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
