It feels like HOME! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups. The house is beautiful and very spacious, well decorated and with great amenities. This was probably the best stocked AirBnB I have stayed at - the welcome bottle of Magnum Prosecco (which sadly we did not have a chance to drink), bottled water and sodas, toiletries including toothpaste, and a large variety of spices in the kitchen. From the direction we drove in, it didn't seem like the best of areas for a family with young kids, but it seemed like a quiet and safe neighborhood. The other directions were a lot more developed with restaurants and new houses. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted to visit while in New Orleans. Erich was very responsive to all our questions and accommodated all our requests. He really cares about his guests and is evident by all the little things has made available in the house. Thank you Erich and hope to stay in your place the next time we visit the area.

The place was just what we had hoped for and made our time in NO special.

This is a five star experience for sure. Few things to note 1) value. I didn’t give this 5 stars because it was just so much money / more than we’ve spent on accommodations anywhere outside an African safari lodge. We stayed during Easter and first weekend of jazz fest and it was super expensive. But I did think a good value because if you have a big group, it’s better than 5 rooms at a fancy hotel 2) the place is perfect for 4-5 couples. All rooms had their own bathroom and 4 were ensuite which made it really nice to host friends. 3) I was a bit worried about the location. We’ve typically stayed either in house in uptown / garden district or a lux hotel in quarter. I worried this could feel like awkward middle ground. But it was really great. We had a car but never needed it; we walked or took the streetcar everywhere. Music. Restaurants. Parks. Bars. Jogging trails. Everything was an easy walk or streetcar. Note: get the app for streetcar. Drivers do not accept / make change

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sophie's home as it comfortably accommodated our group of 11. The location is roughly 15-20 minutes away from all of the major hot spots in NOLA but had the benefit of being in a private/quiet suburban neighborhood. The seafood spot around the corner from the listing was delicious and had great deals for our large group. Sophie was extremely communicative ahead of our trip and helped answer a number of questions for me to make sure we were prepared. Easy check-in/check-out process and overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a family wedding. Location was perfect for all of the activities. The host was very accommodating. We utilized the preorder of groceries which I would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Came with 7 ladies for a 40th birthday and it was perfect (we had 2 adjoining units). Units were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The neighborhood is great with lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants, and is an easy walk/uber to the more central parts of town. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 decided to take a last minute trip to New Orleans for a long weekend. After one night in a hotel we decided we needed some space and a pool. This place looked brand new and had the bedrooms to give my kids some space. Not to mention our own pool!!!! Nice big bright kitchen, huge bedrooms, private patio with a pool. And driveway parking. We left the car in front all weekend and took ubers everywhere because the Garden District, French Quarter, and Lakeshore were close by and then we didn't have to worry about parking. No place is perfect but this came pretty darn close if you don't want the noise and traffic of the french quarter, the high prices of the garden district, but still super close to everything. Would totally come back again. Place would be great for 3 couples or even two families.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property during Easter weekend. My family has a long standing tradition of spending Easter in New Orleans and this property helped make stay memorable. The property clearly matches the description and photos listed on AirBnB. There was plenty of space for our group of 10. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a fantastic feature, especially with a large group! The property was very clean upon arrival and the hosts were extremely accommodating with our entire stay. They were very responsive to our questions and provided clear direction with check-in / check-out policies. Mid-City is a beautiful neighborhood with many great restaurants / bars all located in walking distance. The property is less than a 10 minute walk to Canal Street and a Streetcar stop, making it very convenient to get around the city. Thank you for a very wonderful stay! We truly appreciated the hospitality and would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. No hesitation.

Ben & Julie live upstairs and are such helpful and uncomplicated hosts. They have created a very functional space for a large family trip. We felt at home, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Though they live there, we barely noticed they were there except for when we needed something and then they were available right away to help. This is a neighborhood, so it worked well for our family reunion, but would not be great for a party oriented stay in New Orleans. Quiet hours are observed, and it is important to be respectful. That said, I have a pretty boisterous family, and we never felt like we couldn’t be ourselves in the space. Overall, such a well thought out design. Two bathrooms helps ensure no one is waiting to use the bathroom. Thank yall so much! we will definitely consider you again next time we have family visiting us in Nola.

Our group celebrated my 40th birthday this past weekend in Nola. The house was perfect for our group of 8. Bathrooms are big and all have showers. The rooms are a nice size as well. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen and living room area is a great place to hang out with the group. We all enjoyed staying there and would stay there again with a group. The place is close enough to walk to restaurants and the main areas of Nola (like Bourbon or Frenchmen street). We walked everywhere no problem. We did end up ordering some groceries for delivery, as there wasn’t much walkable for small groceries. But not a problem. The hosts were communicative and accommodating. We had a wonderful trip despite the rain!

This was a great stay! We had plenty of space to gather and for privacy. We were in a good location for the parade routes and easy access to downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. I highly recommend this stay and we look forward to booking with this host again. Happy Mardi Gras y'all!

We had a great stay! The instructions were very clear and I appreciated all the safety measures. It was close enough to the French Quarter for a quick ride to and from. There was great communication and we enjoyed the space!

What a great house! Newly renovated, Alleshia’s house is large, warm, well-appointed, and each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom. The location is perfect - easy walking to all the great restaurants in Bywater and close to the Marigny and French Quarter. We would stay in this house every year!

My friends and I came to New Orleans for a bachelor party weekend, and Bianka's place gave us everything we needed in a vacation rental. We wanted a place with plenty of beds, a couple bathrooms, and most importantly, located close to fun areas. Our group of 7 guys all had our own beds and we're very comfortable throughout the trip. We didn't do much cooking, but there was a full size kitchen if we wanted to. The unit is maybe a 15 minute walk to the nightlife section of Frenchmen St, and from there you're another 15-20 minute walk to the famous Bourbon St, with plenty to do between. During our whole stay, the only time we got a ride was to and from the airport. Bianka was very attentive and gave great instructions regarding the place. I will definitely be reaching out again next time I'm in the area.

Had a great stay at the home. Everything was so easy to get to. The neighborhood was quiet with no issues. Parking was in the driveway and the home was excellent. Clean and had everything we needed

Beautiful and historic property walking distance to plenty of amazing restaurants, activities, bars, etc. The Metis NOLA team was thorough and easy to communicate with leading up to and during our stay.

Host was extremely responsive. The propane went out on the grill and they delivered a new tank in less than 15 min. They place was spotless and the parking was easy and plentiful. I don't even have an EV, but they had a charger if I needed one. :) One of my best AirBnB experiences ever.

This home was beautiful and spacious! The location was close to everything we wanted to do and the host was amazing and responsive! Everything about this place was spectacular!

This unit was better than advertised. Avery is extremely responsive and kind. She has thought of everything in the beautiful, comfortable property. We appreciated the privacy of having bedrooms on three floors and the plunge pool is great. The unit is very clean and the garage is a wonderful convenience. The Warehouse District location is very walkable with museums, galleries, the Convention Center, bars, and restaurants nearby.

We came to New Orleans as a group of 8 to tour Tulane and enjoy some family time. The house was clean, modern, sleek, and well-appointed. All amenities were as described, and the home was very spacious (we especially loved the super comfortable couch in the living/family room)! The home was in a central and convenient location, never taking more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. The neighborhood is in the midst of a transition, so there are less-revitalized areas in close proximity. Nevertheless, the street is peaceful and we never felt unsafe. David is a communicative and responsive host, answering questions in under an hour, and checking-in to make sure all is well. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend it to others - it’s a great urban oasis!
