There's a remote, "get away from it all" feeling, but we're just 3 miles from the main A470 road, and a short drive from Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Builth Wells, and the Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a self-catering stay, downstairs is open plan, with spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a toilet; upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone a fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk.

Beautiful Cottage with Suntrap Garden

The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

Walkable to the village of Llyswen which has 2 pubs, a local shop and access to the river Wye. Close to most outdoor activities including walking, cycling and climbing. A charming little four star cottage on the edge of the village of Talgarth nestled in the foothills of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park. An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. Close to all local amenities - shops, pubs, eating places etc. - very well equipped with off road parking, free wifi and good mobile reception. Two nights minimum stay. Hot water provided.

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Located just 3 miles from the book-lover's haven of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festivals and easygoing charm, it is the perfect place to escape to.

The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.
