Deep in the West River Valley region of Windham County, Lawrence Cottage is in a gorgeous and uncluttered setting upon Windham Hill. If you long for solitude, serenity and beauty, we have the perfect escape for you. We are convenient to all local amenities and activities and an easy drive from Boston or New York. We are near Townshend, Jamaica and Lowell Lake State Parks, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain Resorts. This is Vermont--of course we welcome people of all backgrounds.

Quick walk to good eats & drinks (Downtown Grocery, Stemwinder, Main + Mountain, etc.), Shaws, Rite Aid, and The Wine & Cheese Shop (perfect for après ski!). Built in the 1940’s, this 2 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath cottage has a rustic charm, and a peaceful setting, with access to a firepit alongside waterfalls. The Hideaway Cottages are on the same road as a Par 3 Public Golf Course. Located 1.5 miles from downtown New London and in close proximity to The New London Hospital, Colby Sawyer College, Proctor Academy, Lake Sunapee & Mt Sunapee. This area is plentiful in outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, Lakes/Beaches, and several local restaurants.
