Den nydelige og premierte geitosten som vant «world cheese awards» i oktober 2023 vert produsert 50 m fra hytten. Frå midten juli er geitene nærmeste naboer til hytten. Her finn du også Nord-Europa eldste og minste stavkirke bygget i 1147.

Flott hytte på Varaldsøy med utsikt over Hardangerfjorden og Folgefonna breen. Hytten har badstu, og en stor og solrik terrasse. Registrert fiskeribedrift for turistfiske. Mulighet for å leie båt til fiske, ca 300 meter til båtplass. En av to identiske hytter som er til leie. Det er flotte badestrender på øyen, og mange fine fjellturer en kan gå. Hytten har tre soverom, to med dobbeltseng, og ett med en familiekøye og en køyeseng. Sengetøy og håndkle kan leies om ønskelig. Kan kjøre til døren.

Kjøkkenet har oppvaskmaskin, kjøleskap og spiseplass med fjordutsikt. Ute på altanen kan man nyte panorama fjordutsikt. Sovehems med plass til 4 - 5 unger eller 3 voksne, også hemsen med fantastisk fjordutsikt. Toalett/bad med dusj og vaskemaskin. P plass til 2 biler. Sol hele dagen. Denne moderne hytten ligger i nærheten av alt, noe som gjør det enkelt å planlegge oppholdet. Kun en liten halv time med bil unna Bergen sentrum får du den ultimate hyttefølelsen i en moderne og stilig innpakning. Naturen er tett på og fjorden er nærmeste nabo. Et perfekt sted å bo for de som er ute etter å leve tett på naturen; samtidig som man bor svært sentralt og kan benytte seg av Bergens kulturliv og restauranter en liten busstur unna.

Her kan du slappe av og nyte roen. Fyre i ovnen og nyte utsikten mot Sandvinsvannet og Sagafossen. Hytten er romslig. Nyrenovert med innlagt vann og strøm. Privat kjøkken og bad. Fra kjøkkenet har du utsikt til fjorden. Kjøkkenet er fullt utstyrt med det du trenger for å lage et godt måltid etter en fjelltur. Overnattingsplassen ligger bare 30 minutters kjøretur fra startpunktet til den populære turen til Trolltunga

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.

We're excited to offer accommodation in a truly unique location, in our selfcatering cabin by the fjord. Only neighbours are the birds, the fish and the apple trees. Combining modern architecture and amenities with the look of a traditional boathouse, there aren't many places like this around. 2 km to groceries, restaurant and gas station. 30 km to Trolltunga trailhead. Lots of local trails.

Peaceful hideaway in mighty surroundings

High quality interior and building , built in 2012. Big open spaces, lots of sleeping fasilities in the shared area. I built this cabin as a sanctuary, for myself. Priority are light open spaces, not many bedrooms. Now time is right to share with you - please feel welcome! Shopping in Jondal, ca 25 min drive away. Or in Odda - ca 1 hour drive. ...yes, that is where you find Trolltunga :)

Haukeli husky - log cabin

The lodge is located at Tjønndalen Fjellgard in a scenic mountain area about 900 meters above the see level. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin, summer and winter. We also operates Haukeli Husky who offers dogsledding summer and winter. You are of course welcome to visit our kennel and our 55 friends when you are our guest.
