Bailiwick Cottage is a cozy, private cottage that looks south down Freeport (Harraseeket) Harbor in Freeport, ME. It is a 4 season accommodation that is close to Freeport shopping, Portland eating, and the Adventure Schools of LL Bean. The cottage sits approximately 50 yards from our main house, has its own parking space and patio, and offers the ability to come and go as you wish. We have had 12 honeymoons in the cottage. Compass Rose Way Cottages are on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. There are two cottages. North and West, both are two bedroom, one bathroom, both with an open concept living room and kitchen cottages We are less than 1/3 mile from downtown South Bristol and the ocean. We are about 14 miles from Damariscotta, Pemaquid Point, and other mid coast Maine towns. Our electricity is provided by our solar array that is grid connected.

Short distance to Brunswick and Bowdoin College, local restaurants. The host also teaches porcelain doll making. You could learn to make porcelain dolls while enjoying the Maine coast.
