The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Yallumbee Beach Studio - Balnarring Beach

Yallumbee Beach Studio is a beautiful, spacious retreat just 5 minutes walk to Balnarring Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. The studio is a newly renovated space, detached from the main property, that gives your own space to call home with the added benefits of a sunny deck, pool access and a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ area. A private retreat only 10 to 15 minutes away from the heart of the Mornington Peninsula’s wine region, Yallumbee Beach Studio is the perfect space to unwind and relax.

Somersea Cottage. Very close to the beach and cafe

My place is close to the beach and the local cafe/restaurant. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the high ceilings and the quiet, secluded setting. My place is good for couples and families. The main bedroom has a DOUBLE bed. The loft is set up with two single beds. There is a floor couch that could be used for a 5th. I have a portacot if needed. The cottage has its own private courtyard with a gas BBQ. It is located in a very quiet court, just a 5 min walk to the beach and cafe.

#Parkerfarmstay is a 11 acre hobby farm. We have 2 units on the farm PF1 sleeps 5 and PF2 sleeps 7. This one is cosy next to chickens/ducks, the other is larger + laundry next to the playground. Ideal for family or friend groups who want to stay together on the Mornington Peninsula. BELLA COTTAGE Private & relaxing accommodation down a quiet court on the Mornington Peninsula. Bella Cottage is the perfect base for exploring all that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer, including wineries, breweries, hot springs, island ferries, restaurants, golf courses and beaches. Bella Cottage is close to HMAS Cerberus. Bella Cottage offers private self-contained accommodation for 2 adults (or 1) on our 2-acre property with a country style aspect including friendly farm animals.

Willow Gum Cottage

Tucked away on a hillside, beneath some beautiful gum trees, and just 5 minutes from the heart of Mornington and its sandy beaches, you'll find this charming two bedroom Miners Cottage. Wake up in the morning to the sound of kookaburras, relax on the large veranda looking out towards leafy Mount Eliza, watch Foxtel on the large TV, or sit out in the evening around the fire pit with a glass of wine from a local winery. Willow Gum cottage has everything for a unique and tranquil getaway.

Opened in March 2021 this lovingly styled Studio is a 200m walk to the 100 Steps Beach access. Enjoy the nourishing sounds & and smells of nature surrounding this seaside haven. The local birdlife, koalas, dolphins and more are a highlight. We love the way farms & vineyards roll to the shores of Western Port Bay, perfect for beach mornings and winery afternoons. The Studio, it's outdoor shower & patio area are for guests exclusive use, and we're mindful of our guests privacy.

Rated as one of the best suburbs of Mon Pen, peaceful Somers is a great base to explore the sights of MP. Walk down to the quiet & dog friendly beach (8 minute walk), grab a delicious breakfast & coffee at the Somers General, dine in style at Tulum village in Balnarring, and return to a cosy, well appointed and pet friendly 3 bedroom house to rest & recharge! MP is buzzing all year with amazing wineries, restaurants, markets & activities like cherry and strawberry picking.
