Perfect for walkers, the village of Belstone is on the north edge of Dartmoor National Park, yet only 5 minutes from the A30. Sheep and ponies graze freely through the village, and as you walk past the excellent Tors Inn the moor opens up giving access to hiking, biking and horse riding activities. Once you have arrived in Belstone you can leave your car and simply enjoy the walks and outdoor pursuits Dartmoor has to offer. Okehampton with it's range of shops is an easy 10 minute drive away.

Organic farm Shepherd's Hut with a view

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

Fingle Farm

A delightful one bedroom chalet near to the picturesque village of Drewsteignton. The chalet is located within a small holding with the family home close by. The property is within close proximity to the A30 and within 16 miles of Exeter Airport. The self contained chalet comprises a double bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Wi-Fi. We do have a number of animals on the small holding, which are kept in a separate area. The chalet is popluar with walkers on the Two Moors Way close by.

Coach House-Gateway to Dartmoor 'An absolute Gem!'

A private guest house with stunning views, the Coach House adjoins 'The Mount', an imposing granite built former Quarry Captains House sitting atop a hill in it's own 15 acre estate. Bridle paths lead from the property directly onto the moor. The friendly moorland Village of Sticklepath is a short walk away with its two pubs, Village Shop and National Trust's Finch Foundry. Only 2mins off the A30, a pet friendly, family friendly stay in a central Devon location, a perfect base for exploring.

Little Gables - Unique retreat on edge of Dartmoor

Little Gables is located just outside the idyllic village of Dunsford on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. An architect designed self catered guesthouse with boutique cabin style accommodation for two. The modern rustic interior is designed for a luxurious and comfortable stay consisting of a spacious open plan kitchen and living area with vaulted ceiling, bathroom with walk in shower and a built in emperor sized bed (2m x 2m) in the bedroom area with a bath (with a view) in the room.

Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

Escape to our couples only Tiny House on the edge of Dartmoor. Spend your days exploring the moors, then return to soak in your wood fired hot tub overlooking the fields. For the adventurous, we share our favourite local walks, kayaking spots, and cycling routes or simply switch off and enjoy the peace. Food lovers are spoilt for choice, with cosy country pubs nearby that serve fantastic food. And yes, we’re dog-friendly 🐕 because adventures are better with your dog by your side.

Peaceful studio apartment in a tranquil location

The accommodation is a self contained studio apartment situated above the double garage in our garden and accessed by a flight of wooden stairs. It is ideal for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. A breakfast hamper is provided Instant booking is available if the booking is made 3 days or more before arrival. A reservation request will be sent to us if your booking is less than 3 days before arrival. Sometimes we are unable to facilitate these short notice requests.

Jasmine cottage is a cosy 17th century Devonshire thatched cottage with everything you need for a short break or relaxing week or two away. Perfect for romantic couples or family getaways, ideally situated for country walks, cycling & exploring beautiful Dartmoor. The north Devon and Cornish coast is just under an hour drive. With a log burner for cosy winter nights in, and a lovely shingle garden for sunny afternoons. Comfortably sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

Melrose Cottage: Gateway to Dartmoor National Park

Bright and airy, newly renovated cottage in central Okehampton. Off street parking for two cars with exclusive use of an EV charger (charges apply). Ideally located for the Devon cycling mecca, the Granite Way, which is at the end of the road. A number of pubs, shops and restaurants are a short walk away. Dartmoor itself is also accessible by foot or a few minutes in the car. The sandy beaches of North Devon are a 40 minute drive away if you fancy a surf!
