"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your enjoyment. Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Private, second-floor suite in a quiet, wooded neighborhood at the heart of Mount Desert Island. Spacious bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed, reading nook, ensuite bath, and views of gardens and pine forest. A short drive (15-20 minutes) to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, but surrounded by nature and away from the crowds. Please note: this space does not have a kitchen or living room, but a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes are provided.
