Magnificent view from the property! Great base to explore the island. Very comfortable home.

Perfect and peaceful in a bush location, with views of the sea. Hot tub very relaxing at days end watching the sunset! Just what we needed two tranquil days in well appointed accommodation, like we were so far away, but only a few minutes drive to all local coastal beaches, and facilities in the area. Beautiful location in a private setting, thanks Grant!

We had the most wonderful stay at Melissa's beach shack in Carrickalinga. The house was wonderful for two families, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short stroll to one of South Australia's most stunning beaches. Melissa was a fantastic host, with great communication and thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach escape!

We absolutely loved our time here. It felt very relaxing and remote, just what we were after. Lots of great attractions near by. Home was beautifully decorated and very very comfortable. Kitchen was super well stocked and easy to use. We hope to come back one day!

This house was such a lovely part of our holiday. We had a baby with us so spent quite a lot of time at the house and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The spa and pool table provided constant entertainment and the kitchen equipment was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals from home. Marnie was lovely to communicate with and was very accommodating for us and the baby. The beach was a close walk and was absolutely pristine! We would definitely come back here for a holiday!

We had a great Easter getaway at Sarah's place. Great for a group getaway, a lot of time spent in the pool and spa! Easy to access the beach and a delish meal at The Victory nearby. Kitchen / the house had everything we needed.

After a month of travelling around the country, we arrived in this wonderfull house. A place to stop and rest. It is just marvellous to wake up in such a place, the view is splendid. The guests are available if you need anything. We have been there with friends and family, the house is very beautiful and well organised. I could just recommend it! :) Céline, From Belgium

We've stayed in many a few tiny houses, and Freya is now easily one of the top 3. It exceeded expectations with all the features: i) the most peaceful and stunning site overlooking Boxing Bay, where you are only 1 of 2 tiny house units staying a short walk from the beach; ii) pristine, clean and new furniture with modern amenities (internet and split system); iii) thoughtful design-led elements and finishings; iv) a really good layout with an actual feel of storage and spaciousness that is hard for tiny cabins to achieve! Hope to be back one day, thanks for hosting us.

Heaven on earth. Julia has been the most wonderful host. She is so communicative and friendly, we felt so comfortable asking any questions or queries. When we arrived, we were greeted by a flock of sheep that were peacefully roaming through the local fields that surrounded the property. The house was spotless and THE VIEW…. oh my goodness, it was unbelievable. Our stay was so calming and private, all thanks to the warmth it gave off, making our time there so much more intimate. There were games and cards and a projector which occupied lots of our spare time. The best part was the outdoor wood oven bathtub. It was the perfect way to wind down after exploring the island throughout the day. It was so warm and relaxing, we didn’t want to get out! There is a bit of wind at night, but you’ve got to expect that with the positioning of the house. A little wind for that view… we can’t complain one bit. Thanks guys, we will definitely be back!
