Platypus Retreat is everything it says and more. Secluded, romantic, beautiful. We picked up Groceries before we arrived, but found out when we got there that we didn’t need as much as we thought. Condiments, tomato sauce, salad dressing, butter, all sorts of spices were all there. While we had a bit of trouble using the oven, it was no problem- we used the bbq instead. We arrived to music playing softly and homemade bread. Just wow. And there was complimentary milk as well. Oh- and as true Americans, we fully appreciated the ice machine. The pool was delightful, albeit slightly chilly for us. We could have asked Gemma to adjust, but it was our last night and we just relaxed in the spa instead- as the rain fell and the local animal life were serenaded us. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing way to end our whirlwind trip to AU.

We loved our stay at Dianne’s place. Fantastic ground floor location which was perfect for us with a baby, 3 and 5 year old. The apartment is in a quiet location but still so close to the lagoon pool. We were provided with a high chair, portacot and mini table and chairs which was perfect for the kids. Very family friendly. Very walkable to all restaurants and shops in Palm Cove. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay in Palm Cove! The beach is right outside the font door. The kitchen is very well equipped. Complete with salt & pepper along with lots of utensils and containers. There are plenty of towels, tea towels etc. The toiletries provided were pretty nice too (Shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, body lotion and bath salts) There were enough blankets etc. The property is immaculately maintained, pool and outdoor areas are pristine Highly recommend to anyone One note though (re: the area) - do your shopping before you get to the suburb of Palm Cove. There are two very small & expensive supermarkets. Stop at Coles on the way over. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks again!

we loved our stay at Aaron's place, nice & clean & quiet. Aaron was on hand to answer a couple of questions. The pools are amazing too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again 😊

A great apartment in a clean and secure hotel. The central location made across to trips , resturants and the harbour for trips to Great Barrier Reef very easy. The apartment was very clean , comfortable and as described. KAy even arranged to pick us up at the airport which made arrival very easy . Would book again if visiting Cairns.

We had a great stay here for 5 nights. As others have mentioned the mini bar is great, well priced and very useful. The apartment was extremely spacious and comfortable, the balcony lovely, and the pool was amazing despite the rain!! We hired a car, but it is close to Cairns and the airport and it is very easy to get Ubers. We enjoyed diving on the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree rainforest, Hartley's Croc Park and Cairns Aquarium. Alyssa and Aaron were great with communication and we were so pleased that we were able to have a late check out. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Le studio était impeccable. Nous avons apprécié la fraîcheur du studio ainsi que la piscine. Les serviettes de piscine sont fournies et pratiques quand on voyage léger. Le barbecue commun est bien appréciable car nous aimons cuisiner. Le studio est très proche du front de mer et des commerces. Idéalement situé pour visiter la région.

Florien was extremely welcoming, right down to having ice blocks for my three children in the freezer and water in a bowl for my dog. He was very responsive when I had to text as I couldn’t work out the bbq. He maintained the property in a very unintrusuve and respectful way. Pool was immaculate and very much enjoyed by my children. Quiet and safe location. Loved my 5 week stay there. Highly recommend.

We had a beautiful two days at Mary’s place. It’s an absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and serene. Mary has thought of everything to make sure your stay is relaxing and wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is excellent, and we loved the outdoor living - we spent almost all our time out there on the deck snuggled on the couch or sitting on the grass! We fed the horses and chickens, enjoyed the view, and the lovely food provided by Mary when we arrived, and the peace and quiet. Mary and Lili are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, but also mindful of guest privacy. We were lucky enough to have cuddles with Diesel and Molly the dogs! There’s excellent walking trails and parks around the area, and the evenings are stunning looking at the mountains and listening to the animals. The beds are super comfy and the shower is excellent. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. We will definitely be back to Mary’s place next time we come to Cairns!

Wendy’s bnb was by far the best bnb we have stayed in! Not only was the house stunning but Wendy thinks of everything your family could want and need. We stayed for 4 days in palm cove and had 3 days of relentless rain but because of Wendy’s generosity in her equipment we still had an amazing time. The gardens and house are immaculate and the location in palm cove is perfect. Highly recommend! You won’t be dissapointed

Beautiful house, so peaceful. Exactly what we wanted, the kids loved the pool. Great communication from host, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway, the house is perfect. thank you for having us 😀

Linda helped us with every question we had and the instructions were very clear and simple. The apartment was clean and really nice. We would definitely go back and we had a wonderful time there!

Great stay! Carla’s place is super peaceful and not too far from Cairns. Cafe across the road was super cute. Great walks and cute suburb with beautiful Queenslanders. Easy place to stay when up north :) thanks so much!

An amazing location! Very safe and walkable neighborhood, really close to several bus stops, and in walking distance to the botanic gardens and several amazing restaurants. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. If I ever have friends or family visit Cairns, I'll recommend they stay here! Thanks Marita!

Great location to the main strip in palm cove while maintaining privacy just a short walk away. Easy location to get picked up for excursions and using public transportation. Local restaurants were great and the Palm Cove New Years events were spectacular!

John & Sheree’s apartment was perfect for our short stay. It was so peaceful, tranquil surrounds leading to pool & a lovely stroll along the meandering Path into Palm Cove. Communication was great, John was very helpful with any queries. The apartment was well appointed with an extremely comfy king bed. We will certainly consider Agin apartments an again if we were to head to North Queensland. Loved it!

Very central location and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the security of having a car park undercover & locked up. We also enjoyed the large balcony. Any problems were solved very quickly & Shirley was a delight to deal with. On arrival in a new town & with a hire car the instructions for finding the key wasn’t very clear. After driving around the block because we missed it, we stumbled upon it at the car park entrance. All other instructions were spot on & clear. Great place to stay.

They provided excellent local tips, from nearby restaurants to hidden gems in the area, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything we wanted to explore. Whether we were relaxing in the cozy living room, enjoying morning coffee at the pool-view backyard or winding down in the plush beds after a day of adventures, every part of the stay was pure bliss. I highly recommend this airbnb for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort.

A beautiful place to chill out and relax. All the comforts you could want are provided. We loved sitting by the pool and watching the beautiful birds in the surrounding trees. Would definitely come back again.

The location was stunning. There was a lovely swimming pool and a spacious veranda looking out onto the sea. It was very peaceful and the house was immaculate. The beach was a five minute walk away. We had a lovely break and couldn't have asked for anything more.

Nice place, the only thing is that bed sheets got some hairs on, as well as the pillow cases, no complaints other wise

Had a wonderful family stay over Christmas and New Year at Clifton Beach in this property. It had all the amenities we required and we were able to enjoy some quality time with our extended family which we had not seen for 5 years.
