Sneffels wilderness, downhill skiing in Telluride or Ouray or just to relax in the Hot Springs right across the parking lot. With views out every window and a private deck to take it all in, we hope you find yourself in love with this "little Switzerland" mountain town like we are. This is our retreat, we are happy to share it with you and let it be yours as well!

This unit includes an oversized two car garage and the entire home was furnished in Sep 2023. Hot tub available (shared with lower unit).

The space is attached to the host's year-round home, but has its own private entrance and parking. Enjoy a fire on the attached private porch, or head across the street for a local favorite hike. Beautiful mountain log cabin will give you the Colorado experience! Above 9,000 feet in elevation the cabin is surrounded by acres of aspen and pine forest, mountain lakes and wildlife. Absolutely awesome for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the quiet woods. In Spring, Summer and Fall there is excellent hiking, fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes, ATV's and 4-wheeling. Winter is a wonderland and an amazing place to snowshoe, cross country ski or snow mobile. Pets allowed.

This centrally located well equipped duplex is your access point to all the adventures that South Fork has to offer in the San Juan and Rio Grande National Forests. We are located just off Highway 160, where you are a short 18 mile drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area. In the summer walk to the South Fork of the Rio Grande for fly fishing as well as an easy drive to many rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Local coffee, pizza, visitors centers and groceries are all in walking distance from our place.

Enjoy easy access to the heart of Lake City from this centrally located place, located within the historic downtown shopping and dining area. Be sure to visit the Hinsdale County Museum next door to get a glimpse of Lake City's history, including a restored caboose. This two bedroom two bath home provides a comfortable place to rest after a fun day in the mountains. The rental is located behind the office of the Lake Fork Valley Conservancy, an environmental non-profit organization.
