Spent our 6 year Anniversary here. Absolutely beautiful property and well cared for. The house is perfect and has a cute patio. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the patio and then drinks on the dock evening time. Dawn was great with responding when we needed something. It was so peaceful and wow the stars were gorgeous. The house itself had everything we needed and then some. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Can't wait to return.

This was such a cool house. For me it felt like I was in my grandmother's house back in the '70s and it was just frozen in time. Of course this house was a lot more high-end than my grandmother's! Even though it's in town it is secluded and makes me feel like I'm actually in the country. I really felt like I was in an estate! lake Gladewater was so close it's really the back side of the property. The downtown vendors were so friendly and welcoming!

My partner and I stayed at the Lily Pad for the Born Free Motorcycle event at the Yellow Rose Canyon. The Lily Pad gives the most amazing and beautiful views of the lake and has more than enough space for a family to enjoy. They provide so many items that one may overlook in packing like sunscreen and bug spray. The Lily Pad is approximately 30 minutes away from any grocery store which has its pros and cons. The master bathroom was VERY clean, spacious and well lit as well as the rooms and living area. Extra blankets were provided as it did get chilly at night in the home. Please keep in mind when arriving that the drive in patch is gravel and dirt which can be rough to ride on if you are on a motorcycle. I recommend to arrive during the daytime as it does get very dark and there are no lights or signs to indicate the path. Overall we loved our stay and will be back!

This place was amazing! The home had an immediate cozy, warm, family feel the minute you walked in. The location on the lake was a perfect setting for any get-away. The sunrises over the lake on a cool crisp morning were spectacular. Jennifer was definitely a super host with the warmest heart. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect.

It’s became a home away from home, truly love my time here . Rocky and staff communicate well to ensure I don’t need anything .

It was a pleasure to stay at Vanessa's Airbnb. We booked it very last minute after a nightmare of a situation at another Airbnb in Marshall. It was such a relief to to be in Vanessa's home and back to level of Airbnb we were expecting. She was great at communication. There is a chance we will be back in the area soon on another job and would love to stay with her again.

Peaceful place

We had a wonderful trip! The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We had a great view of the lake from inside the house which was perfect for relaxing and enjoyed getting to fish from the private dock (caught lots of perch, a few bass and a catfish). We would definitely stay here another time if in the area again!

What a wonderful weekend at the lake. Celebrating friendship and fellowship. Wonderful host and very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit. I will rate this experience a 10.... Great memories!

The Bar O was just what we were looking for to get away for a long weekend. Our family of 4 had a great time fishing, exploring the cattle ranch, and paddle boarding (we brought our own even though kayaks were available for our use). The home was comfortable and our doggies loved the outdoor space. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your beautiful space

What an incredible getaway! This cozy house in the middle of the woods near Tyler was everything we were hoping for and more. The peace and quiet were unmatched—just birds, trees, and the occasional deer wandering by. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the little touches that made it feel special, from a fully stocked kitchen to super comfortable beds. Waking up surrounded by nature and enjoying our morning coffee on the porch was the highlight of every day. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Whether you’re looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or just get away from the hustle and bustle, this place is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a large group and this house had more than enough space for all of us. Lovely, clean rooms and a beautiful setting on the lake was just what we needed to relax on our trip.

This is an absolutely beautiful house and great place to stay! The view from the dock was wonderful and relaxing, and we enjoyed our time here. Even for a house that holds many people we had no issues with only one shower as the water stayed warm even after our line of people took their turns. The bed were comfortable and so was the space. I would highly recommend a stay here at this retreat
