Imagine starting your day hearing the bell buoy near the famed Ocean Path of Acadia National Park. You decide to walk or bike from your house to watch the sunrise light up Otter Cliffs and Monument Cove. You have the place mainly to yourself, and the seagulls. You walk a little further to see what action might be happening at Thunderhole. From there you see that Sand Beach isn't much further, and you realize that you chose a home base as close to the Park as it gets. A rare location, indeed.

Overlooking the woods of Acadia National Park in the residential village of Seal Harbor, this house is a 10 minute walk to the beach and village green where you can swim or rent kayaks or bicycles. It is a 15 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. It is the ideal spot to enjoy all of Mount Desert Island.
