Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

Tania was a great host. Very accommodating and fast with messages and communications. Her house was also clean with plenty amenities.

What a wonderful find, from the first time I contacted Jimmy he was so kind and helpful, each time I reached out to him he responded quickly. When we arrived the house was just as described and then some, even had out nascar decor which was amazing since that's what we were there for. If we make it that way again it's a definite stay again. 👍👍👍

This house is absolutely magazine worthy! We reserved the house for 4 couples over our wedding weekend in Birmingham. It was the perfect place to have everyone together for the weekend, lots of common areas, the porch is amazing, and plenty of privacy when needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. The place felt like home for me and my girls group. We were busy the whole stay, but we enjoyed the space when we were there.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. My son was competing in the NJROTC Orienteering National Championship at nearby Oak Mountain State Park. David's place was close to everything, but somehow felt miles away. David came to greet us after we arrived. He was attentive and responsive to our needs and concerns. There was a line of powerful storms coming across the southern half of the US during our stay, which was causing tornadoes. He called to let us know where storm shelters in the area were if needed. Fortunately for all they were not necessary. The cabin had everything we needed and, as advertised, nothing we didn't. No tv, no internet. It was nice to disconnect from everything for a bit. At one point the neighbor's dog "Lizard" came and sat with me on the porch for a bit. She got some sausages for her trouble. David made the checkout process extremely simple. My wife and I would certainly stay again if ever in the area. Thank you allowing us to stay David, we appreciate it.

Our family felt right at home. We loved the privacy of this beautiful home. We always felt safe. The location is very convenient to the interstate. We could not have asked for a better temporary housing experience. We really fell in love with housing amenities like the family room, kitchen, walk-in shower, beautiful large completely fenced backyard, large windows to look out and feel at peace. We were in town for a baby shower at the Botanical Gardens in Mountain Brook. This was a great location and we walked to nearby restaurants with our dog. The unit was perfect for us.

The stay couldn't have been more perfect. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go, and the room couldn't have been more perfect. My wife absolutely adored the living area, and we were able to enjoy home cooked meals, which is rather a luxury for us while traveling. I would absolutely stay here again, and I would 100% recommend this place to all of my friends should they ever get into Birmingham for a stay.

We really enjoyed staying at the farm. My teenage sons enjoyed fishing on a boat, kayaking , paddle boarding. My husband and I enjoyed feeding goats. Steve, Susan and their children are nice and friendly.

This is a lovely home dating to the Arts and Crafts era in a newly revitalized area of Birmingham. Erin accepted our reservations late in the day and with very little time (about 1/2 hour) before our arrival. The home was in ship shape with warm lights on to welcome us. I kept going back to one bedroom to marvel at the restored wooden ceiling. So pretty! We loved our stay and give our hosts and lodgings thumbs up.

I had a wonderful stay at Sara's place. She was incredibly accommodating with my last-minute booking, provided detailed check-in instructions, and regularly checked in to make my stay pleasant. The home was cozy and well-lit, situated in a safe neighborhood just a short drive from downtown. Everything was spotlessly clean with all the essential amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Very clean home! Smelled wonderful as we arrived. Extra toiletries and supplies for anything forgotten. Keypad was tricky but once we figured it out once it was fine! Super convenient stay for Dega race weekend!! We would stay again. Great host & responsive.

This little spot was just what we needed. The home was so cute but what really did it for me was the kitchen. It was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook a family meal. Genuinely such a cute home, we will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area

Spacious, clean, and cozy house — we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described. A special highlight was the excellent water pressure in the shower, which is rare to find in the U.S.

This boathouse was everything we hoped for and more. The setting is absolutely stunning – waking up to the gentle sound of water and watching the sunrise from the deck was pure serenity. Inside, the space was thoughtfully decorated, sparkling clean, and had all the comforts of home with a unique nautical charm. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway, this place is a hidden gem. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

We loved our visit to the Pinetree property. This luxury country retreat exceeded our expectations. Couldn't recommend strongly enough and wish there was a 5+ option.

This was my second satisfied stay at this rental. The place is very cozy, with a well stocked kitchen and relaxing front porch and rear deck. Great area with low traffic for cycling and hiking!

The rental was extremely clean, cozy, and well decorated. The property is peppered with trees, and it is well maintained. It gives a very rustic feeling, like you are staying in a fancy cabin. Amber was outstanding. When you rent her room, you also get a terrific trip advisor. We had a great time exploring the local waterfall and bird sanctuary based on her recommendations. She was always quick to respond to any inquires, and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We would certainly want to visit again the next time we are in the area.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place that felt like home in a safe neighborhood. It was pretty close to everything. Everything worked in the house. I really liked that I didn't have to fool with logging into Netflix or Prime with my own information. It was already there like mine at home! Thanks for hosting us.
