The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. Art's hut is a 1930's couples retreat nestled amongst a country garden and Glendale homestead. The hut is the foundation building of a family working cattle stud "Graneta". This cottage has peaceful country charm, well situated at the foothills of the Bunya Mountains and only 4kms from the quaint town of Bell which has plenty to see and do. Only 33kms drive to the heritage-listed Jimbour house and the beautiful Bunya Mountains which is a lovely drive with spectacular views and great walks.

Even though Wah Cottage is neatly 100 years old, it has been fully renovated so that it retains its country charm while still delivering creature comforts. Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters and farmhouse kitchen. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.

The cabin includes a swimming pool with a large entertainment deck with excellent views. At night you can stargaze on the deck or sit in front of the warm fireplace inside.

The Bunyas is always about 6 degrees cooler than the surrounding area. Nature abounds with friendly wallabies, possums, bandicoots, echidnas, and the colourful king parrots and crimson rosellas are amongst the abundant birdlife.
