Relax by the Goulburn at Doctors Creek Retreat

Relax with family and friends at Doctor's Creek Retreat on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River. Enough room for a large gathering, featuring 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 9 people. In the warmer weather, swim or float down the river via two river access points or enjoy a drink, BBQ and relax in the hammock on the spacious deck overlooking the river. In the cooler months relax by the indoor woodfire, outdoor firepit or venture to the snow, with Mount Buller around an hour away.

Please note - this cabin is located on our working farm and while you are in your own separate building you are approximately 50 metres from the main house and horse yards.

Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. The Cedar House is located in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of Lake Eildon, approximately 150 kilometres from Melbourne, Victoria. Set on 1.3 hectares, the property has been landscaped with several varieties of Australian indigenous gum and Casurina trees, native shrubs and tree ferns, two dams and two seasonal creeks with an abundance of bird and wildlife.

Just 50 minutes to the gates of Mt Buller and 15 minutes to the nearest boat ramp at Lake Eildon, you can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer or by the cosy fire in winter.
