We had a wonderful stay with Pete and Les at their beautiful property. This is a gorgeous purpose built B&B and provides a beautifully appointed room with very comfortable bed, quality linen and huge ensuite. We had the nautical room and were able to have our dog stay. Being a traditional B&B, breakfast is provided and is fabulous. This is such a serene rural setting but only 15 minutes into Taree and to the beach at Old Bar. We loved our two nights here and highly recommend to others. Thank you Pete and Les.

Our stay at Elfin Hill was relaxing and wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the birds singing and the rustling of the eucalyptus trees from the room. The view from the pavilion is truly picturesque. Edwina and her husband are wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Great location, few minutes drive to the local town. Very friendly host and recommend us with few places need to visit in the local area. We stayed at the room with a luxury SPA, the entire place was tidy and homely. Wake up with sunshine and beautiful gardens, having a 5 star equivalent breakfast, what else do you need for a holiday? Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at the property was so comfortable & one of the best. Peter & his wife made us feel at home through out our stay. His pets were very friendly and the whole house was maintained so clean /organised. Our 1yr old pet also settled down quickly in the new place, had a lot of play time & was so comfortable. We really loved the location, our stay, cooking & dining together. It was a wonderful experience & we enjoyed every moment.. If we plan another road trip to Sydney or in that region, I will look for this property & happily stay with Peter again... Long story short, they are just lovely people, really a superhost, in a lovely location & in a lovely property ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☺️

We had such a wonderful stay at this place! The accommodation was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Laura, who was staying nearby, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly kind, respected our privacy, and even prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole experience was perfect, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

We would definitely recommend staying at the loft for your accommodation. We had an awesome stay, totally exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Since the owner was out of the country his son managed the property. He was really helpful and easy to be contacted. They provide bread, cereal and other basic stuffs to prepare the breakfast. All the utensils and other stuffs were labled properly. Overall good experience.

Wow what a great stay with the most wonderful hosts, Brian and Sue. They've been hosting people all over Australia and the world for many years and it shows. They were hospitable and so generous with their knowledge of their beloved bay. I truly hope they continue to share their love and local knowledge to others, such down to earth Aussies with a wealth of experience and stories!

Top quality stay thanks to our welcoming and expert hosts, Sue and Fritz. Such a beautiful property with incredible views. We made it in time to enjoy Sue’s delicious cake and afternoon tea. Yum! Breakfast was equally enjoyable and relaxing whilst watching the birdlife in the expansive garden that they have lovingly nurtured over the years. Fritz’s humour and Sue’s cooking are a delight. Thank you both. Highly recommend as a stop to rejuvenate!

the essence of Air BnB, a private room ins someone's house. beautiful and charming cottage with lovely federation features. beautiful bay window, plenty of extra blankets, including an electric one to take the chill off. easy walking distance to the main street and friendly and helpful hosts, what more could you ask for!

Ideal place to stay for short trip

Cathryn and John’s place was easy to find, well signposted right off the road. This is a bnb in the old fashioned sense of the word - a room in someone’s home with a slap up breakfast served before you head back out into the road. Cathryn and John are generous and welcoming hosts. They made us and our dog very welcome. All the more impressive as they hadn’t had the easiest of days before our arrival. Dogs aren’t allowed inside but there is a large secure garden and a covered verandah where you can put their bed. We weren’t sure how our spoilt “inside” dog would go but we were assured by our hosts that they wouldn’t be kept awake if he made a fuss. I’m pleased to say he didn’t show us up or keep anyone awake!

What a stay! What a stunning place to be! I felt so at home straight away, the room and bathroom are so superbly decorated and everything you could need was there, baked goodies, fresh fruit, milk, juice and so much more. The bed sublimely comfortable and the hosts absolutely beautiful people. Thank you for all the effort to make my stay so memorable Beverley and for your little extra something special for the road. Beverley was a lovely warm host. She was very accommodating in my changing arrival and checking out times. It was lovely to be welcomed into her beautiful home and shown my lovely bedroom and clean bathroom. The bed so was comfortable and cosy! The little extras, apple cake, home made cookies to have with my afternoon tea when I arrived were delicious. Fruit bowl yum. Beverley was very helpful in suggesting I order an uber there and back from the concert I was attending. Thank goodness I did as it was very chaotic due to a football game held on the same night. Breakfast the next morning, home made granola, yoghurt and topped off with hot croissants, what a treat! Beverley was there to say goodbye but also had a lovely conversation regarding the house history which was very interesting. Yes and a bit of a personal chat, so caring. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My partner and I loved staying at Karen’s place with our puppy dog! The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower nice and hot and a relaxing bath with lovely samples of Karen’s own products to be used in it was an excellent touch. We enjoyed being able to use other samples of products made on the gorgeous lavender farm. Karen was extremely friendly, we had lots of lovely chats with her throughout our stay, while the space was also as private as we wanted it to be. She cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning, which we enjoyed on the verandah outside. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
