Absolutely fantastic Airbnb! We have stayed in a fair few and this is definitely one of the best we have stayed in, for the location, size and definitely amenities! It was great to have everything we needed already there to compliment what we'd brought! The barn itself is a phenomenal space; we were really lucky with the weather and were treated to some amazing star gazing and sunset! The kids play area was lovely and our little one had a fantastic time playing as well as saying hello to the cows and chickens! Would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

This was our third stay at the lovely barn and I’m sure we will be back in future. Lots of character, beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a few pubs within a couple of miles walk. Diana was a great host as ever, overall another very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

lovely little cottage in a peaceful country side location but close enough town, car required, will no doubt use again, small issue with TV but this was soon sorted. Thank you Jessica and we will visit again.

Myself and 15 other family members and friends all stayed in Sarah's beautiful barn for my Mother's surprise 60th birthday celebrations. As this was a big event in our family, I searched for months to find the perfect place suitable for everyone (ages ranged from 13 months - 85 years old) and I couldn't have picked a better home. Everyone was in awe with the barn, so much thought has gone into every room, down to the smallest of details, throughout the entire home. Everything we could possibly need was provided and Sarah was always on hand if we had any queries. The setting is absolutely stunning, quiet, peaceful with loads of parking and grounds to play sports on. The cinema room, bar, hot tub and games room were all added bonuses! I'd highly recommend Sarah's beautiful Barn to any large party looking to celebrate in style. 5 stars across the board :) Sam

This is an idyllic find, in a glorious setting, in a very pretty and totally secure garden. The barn conversion is pleasantly furnished in a simple comtemporary style, and there is everything you need, all well thought through. All the family members we met were charming and helpful. We are really looking forward to another visit.

We had the most wonderful few days of total peace and relaxation - with incredible views of Sugar Loaf mountain and walks on the doorstep. It's a beautiful part of the world to explore and extra special to come back each day to such a comfortable home. We recommend it highly!

A fantastic little escape — serene, peaceful, and offering a stunning panoramic view. It is wonderfully remote and secluded, yet ideally located for local hikes and exploring the Brecon Beacons. The lovely little carriage is beautiful and cosy, perfectly fitting the whole 'closer to nature' experience. Graham is an excellent host: friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The freshly baked loaf was such a nice touch as well. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Louise's lovely barn. It was spotless, exactly as photos showed and myself, my husband and our two children immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Louise was very helpful prior to and during our stay and has gone to a lot of effort to ensure the barn was well equipped, clean and homely with some nice touches such as cookies and tea and coffee facilities on arrival, plenty of household supplies as well as games, books, films and suggestions of things to do and places to go in the area. We really enjoyed a recommended walk to visit St Antony's Well but the best part was enjoying the warm, dry weather in the barn, the garden and its beautiful surroundings. We only wish we had stayed for longer! We are very much hoping to return. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

We loved our stay at Hannah's place. Lovely home, perfect for our family. The house is well set up with everything you'd need and really clean and tidy. Lots of things for our 2 year old daughter to do and play with and really safe for her too, stair gates, enclosed private yard etc. Hannah was very helpful with directions and providing things we asked for like a high chair and cot. The location is really peaceful and quiet and was perfectly situated to get to loads of great walks and other activities in the Beacons and surrounding areas. We would recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the region.

This was 10/10 the place was so clean and tidy, could not have any negative feedback from this little break one bit. The kids loved the place was so so cosy and the place was ideal for us and our young family and the dog. We will be back Claire thank you so much for all the efforts !! The cold ciders was ideal for our long journey from London, and the kids loved the brownies. We never been to an air BNB with all the little touches our 3 year old has taken charge of the water bottle. Thank you Claire we will most see your lovely little barn again. Memories are every thing one love 💙

Die Unterlunft war kleiner als erwartet, aber dennoch makellos sauber, mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, wir haben darin super geschlafen. Alles da, was man in einer Küche so brauchen könnte… und mit kleinen Willkommensgeschenken… das hat uns sehr gefreut. Der Garten sieht zauberhaft aus. Trotz Hauptstraße ist es nicht zu laut. Sam und Adrian sind entzückend, sehr nett und immer gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. 100% Empfehlung. 👍🏻

„The old stable“‘ ist eine schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, gemütliche und geräumige Unterkunft mit einer großen Terrasse und einer großen Wiese. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Die Bäder sind komfortabel, die Betten bequem. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Fantastic stay, Catherine and mark were both very kind, helpful and welcoming, the barn was very clean and tidy, perfect surroundings which were private and peaceful. Catherine also went out of her way to get us a thoughtful welcoming basket. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

The Barn was beautiful. We were impressed as soon as we walked into the property. Nic and Chris were very helpful with instructions to find the place and recommendations for takeaways and places to eat. We would love to go back again to stay when holidaying in this area.

Perfect find for a chilled weekend with family celebrating family birthdays! On the doorstep walks with fab views and loved being close to the Forest of Dean to extend our exploration of the area! Dogs loved it too! The cottage was perfect for 6 adults and a massive bonus was that it was dog friendly with an enclosed garden! Pete was really accommodating in respect of our dog’s needs and Alice and Pete were always quick to respond to messages! Thanks for a lovely stay!

The disabled facilities were great, it was very clean, bright and peaceful. The area was great, very central to a lot of towns and attractions in the vicinity. Really enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to some friends.

We very much enjoyed our stay here at this charming little Airbnb. We particulary loved that it is incredibly cosy, and tucked away in such a beautiful and peaceful area! The private field is a bonus, especially so our little Louie could have a good run around! We explored some wonderful nearby walks, and we particularly loved the Abbey Mill Coffee House in Tintern, which served amazing food - we highly recommend a visit! Eveything about the area felt calm and inviting, and this little cottage was the perfect base for it all! Thank you for a wonderful, and very memorable, stay!

We loved the off the beaten track location The 50m away only other property was out of sight and just helped us not to feel completely isolated. Everything was just right. The quality of the ban conversion. The underfloor heating kept a comfortable ambient temperature, and altho overast and chilly outside we didn't feel the need to light the wood burner and took our kindling home. The kitchen was well equipped kitchen, the bed comfortable. bek. The full with windows across the length of the kitchen made it a great spot to sit and take in the great view through trees free and across the valley. Birdsong and bird activity was a feature, with birds of prey from time to time high above, and a 7am knocking on the glass door from a grouse! Maybe reacting to its own reflection. Another time we would have explored the area on foot, very easy to do with footpaths crossing close by going down towards the river. but we opted for cosy and restful.

We loved our stay. Old Barn House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub. Communication was good and there were a lot of recommendations of things to do.

What a wonderful find! Jay's place is special. We walked through the front door of this beautiful cottage and said WOW! The cottage is full of character and spotlessly clean. There was a scrumptious continental breakfast spread and a cupboard full of basics that we were welcome to use. High quality toiletries were provided in lovely bathrooms and the beds were comfy. We felt very spoiled and had a lovely stay in quiet countryside but within a short driving distance to pretty Welsh towns. Thanks Jay!

Such tasteful decor, fully kitted out, immaculate, incredibly peaceful location- sheer bliss. So enjoyed sitting by the fire putting our feet up after a brisk walk up the sugarloaf! So appreciate the kind gesture of Prosecco, biscuits, cheese and crackers and coffee. We will be returning! X
