We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

The house was really cozy and we had plenty of of room for everyone. The property was beautiful great for a break from the city to connect with nature. The host was great and they accomodated for changes on the amount of people. Overall great experience

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

We had a brilliant stay in Porepunkah and would not hesitate to stay again. The log cabin was set in a beautiful, quaint location and it made for a very relaxing week. We had such a great time staying at Lauretta’s Airbnb! The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. There were so many amazing sites and scenic hikes nearby, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lauretta was super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question or needed something. Her place had such a unique charm, from the decor to the overall vibe—it really added to the experience and made it feel special. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was a stay we won’t soon forget. The views were spectacular, the breakfast foods and sweet treats in the fridge were a lovely touch and the check in was smooth and easy. We had a wonderful time staying there and would love to stay again in the future.

We had such a great stay at Moose Head Lodge. The location is peaceful, the views are beautiful and the house has everything you need (including a great record/CD collection!) We enjoyed the local walking trails and spent our nights BBQ'ing, making pizzas and watching DVDs by the fire. Matt & Rachel were amazing hosts - very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended, we hope to be back!

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

Paul’s house was perfect as a base for my son’s sporting event. Very comfortable and plenty of space for the family to stay out of each others way. We will definitely be back for the next competition.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

The surrounding gardens were stunning and added to the peaceful, relaxing vibe. The location was perfect—close to town and local attractions, making everything super convenient. Communication was excellent, and we really appreciated all the helpful tips on cafes, restaurants, and things to do in the area. We had an amazing time at Mitch's beautiful property, the house is spacious, clean and quiet at night, beds are so comfy and everything is clean and spotless, Mitch is very friendly and very prompt at responding requests. Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

Langbrook cottage is one of the best AirBnB we have stayed in. It is located in a working farm with cows right in the middle of Yarra Valley. It is in a perfect location to explore the wineries around. The surrounding is very peaceful and relaxing. We had a private swimming pool and pool table. There is a tennis court right outside of the cottage with tennis rackets provided. Breakfast with home grown tomatoes were provided too. We really appreciate how friendly and helpful Cathy and her family are. We had a tour around the farm and had the chance to get close to the newborn calves. There was also a very cute cat roaming around! The interior of the cottage was very clean and you can tell the furnitures used are top notch. We would love to come back again any time soon!!

Great stay! This was a beautiful space to get ready before a wedding in the valley. Not only was there ample space for our group, there were many interesting places to take photos and enjoy each others company. Stacey was extremely responsive to all of our messages, and the stay was seamless. They also gave us a great local coffee recommendation.

I had the loveliest and most relaxing stay at Jamie + Peter’s place. Sadly, I was very unwell during my stay, however, it is the most relaxing place to unwind, rest and recover. Everything is so clean, beautifully curated, and very cozy - the bed is super comfy. The eggs from their hen and the bread/milk they left for me was life saving as it meant I didn’t have to go out if I didn’t want to! Jamie was so lovely and making sure I was okay and if I needed anything, and is such a lovely human - which I didn’t get to see Peter much but I’m sure he’s the same. Djinni, their dog, is also gorgeous and so sweet. While my stay was short, it’s definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at in terms of the beauty of the property and also the care of the hosts. I’ll be back again for sure ☺️

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

Our stay was blissful! Incredible place, fantastic views and hosts everything you need - even complementary breakfast hamper! Love the location. Saw kangaroos grazing in the morning and various wildlife. Decor was on point complementing the stonework and great build! Will 100% come back… Jacqui was an incredible host, thank you!
