Robert was a welcoming host with home made biscuits and slices for us when we arrived. The house is large and well maintained and it has a good vibe. It was a pleasure to stay there and we’re very happy that we did. All in all, an excellent house to accommodate five people in comfort.

Frank is an amazing host , the cottage was easy to find and conveniently located near the famous the barn steakhouse and the city of mount Gambier. 10/10 would recommend it!

Clean and welcoming house, great yard for dogs but no doggy door. Heater worked well on cold days and rooms spacious with clean bedding. Happy to recommend for other visitors.

Tolka cottage is a charming, rustic retreat. The farm is surrounded by state forest and a wildlife haven. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, oodles of birds, deer and a koala all from the front veranda. Ivy was very responsive and helpful with her communication. She was away when wev vsited but had a friend there who was a friendly host. The home was well stocked with DVD and games, ample breakfast supplies, good quality linen and towels. The farm requires driving down gravel road for about 15 minutes which might not suit visitors with hire cars with restrictions on unsealed roads. We had no mobile phone reception once we left the sealed roads so I recommend taking offline maps if you don’t have other ways to navigate. We downloaded books and films on our devices before arriving and enjoyed being switched off from the phone and social media. Watch out for kangaroos and wallabies on the road into the farm and in the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for us and all amenities were in pristine condition. We felt right at home here and very comfortable. Kim & Charlie were very hospitable, friendly hosts and gave clear instructions and recommendations of things to do. Thank you very much once again, for having us at your wonderful accommodation.

We had such a peaceful time at ‘No Vew’, The whole property has such a relaxed vibe. We have a big family and the property fit everyone comfortably. Such a great space. Zoe was really responsive and shared links of things to do locally. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks for having us.

Thankyou Sue. What a superb place to stay in Coonawarra. beautiful garden with fantastic birds and huge red gum trees. The studio was a large open and light filled room. Generous breakfast provisions also. Sue provided friendly and useful communication. Everything was spotless, including the BBQ.

felt very homely, very comfortable and bigger than the photos depict. Generous sized bedrooms, main bathroom and ensuite. Hosts were very informative with a comprehensive recommendations list and suggestions for local and surrounding areas. Very quick responses to messages. All made for a lovely stay and would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

The perfect accommodation in a little, quiet slice of paradise in country Victoria. Nelson is such a beautiful town, and with a 3 year old Labrador in tow, this was the perfect place to stay to enjoy the breathtaking ocean beach at Discovery Bay. I have never stayed anywhere where the hosts have been so generous with their amenities. Champagne and chocolates in the fridge waiting for us, along with a fridge and pantry full of staples. You spoilt us Todd! Accommodation was clean and comfortable and right next to the Nelson pub which was very convenient! The only improvement I could suggest would be to reattach the sliding wire door to the courtyard. We love to get the breeze at night but the mozzies are prolific which meant leaving the door open was not an option. Can't wait to return to Nelson and The Stables. A perfect place to stop and rest with the family. The grounds are peaceful and a great area for children to explore. The chalets are comfortable, homely and have everything you could need. This was our second visit and we hope to be back again.

The home was well priced, well located, clean and comfortable. Our entry was straightforward and instructions clear. We lit a fire each night to warm the living area. I think it is really well priced and I would certainly stay there again. Many thanks, James.

This is the second time we have stayed. It’s a beautiful home with all the bells and whistles! From the well appointed kitchen with everything you need to the spacious, comfortable bedrooms. The location looking over the Glenelg River is stunning. One of our best trips, thanks Kellie!

David’s Nelson getaway, Tawarri, was absolute serenity. The ambience of the house was incredible—peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully set up. We didn’t need to bring a thing; everything we could have needed was provided. The property is literally a stone’s throw from the picturesque Glenelg River, making it a perfect base for nature lovers. If the weather’s good, there are endless walks in the national park, plenty of fishing opportunities, or you can simply light the fire and relax with a good book on the couch. David was incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!
