We offer an elegant, cozy, private guest room with private ensuite bathroom, it's own private entrance and private arbored deck. The carrera marble bath tiles are heated for winters, and the deck and garden have seating areas for summer. Like a little hotel room, this queen-bed suite is ideal for 1 or 2 who would like an entirely separate space, but don't need a full kitchen. The room features microwave, mini-fridge, teakettle & basic flatware - ideal for simple breakfasts or reheated leftovers.

Our Private Suite is located in an idyllic setting central to all the activities, great food and nature that the greater Portland area is known for, but without the "junk" that comes with being in the city. My wife, Raechel, and I originally designed and built this ADU ( accessory dwelling unit ) with the intention of living there full time, but due to a change of plans, it's available to you. The space was designed by Buckenmeyer Architecture, and was constructed by me. Our space features many unique elements such as: burnt cedar siding, 16' multi-slide window wall (please open and close slowly), and moveable cedar slat screens/ We hope you enjoy the space and neighborhood as much as we do!
