The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

In an enviable position just a 5 minute walk from a sandy beach, Ellesmere is a terraced house in New Quay. Our family bought the house in 1963, and three generations have enjoyed holidays here, escaping from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The house is comfortable and homely rather than boutique. Perfect if you want to get fit as it is up a steep hill, but within walking distance of New Quay's beaches, shops and eating places, it is also a 5 minute walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path.

There are beautiful walks nearby, including a stunning stroll to the local NT property- Llanerchaeron.

The farmhouse is for the exclusive use of your group and not shared with other guests. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the open countryside. A patio area to the side leads onto a sloping lawn.

The Cabin is situated at the end of our drive, with it's own parking area and a small private garden offering a sea view and is the perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset in peace and quiet. Inside, the cabin offers a living space perfect for a couples retreat to get away and unwind.
