Julie’s place was perfect for what we needed. The back deck was so lovely during the late afternoon watching the sun go down, and the lounge room was very spacious. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Diane’s place. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our son especially loved spending time with the horse and chickens—it was a real highlight for him. Diane and her family were really friendly and helpful. A truly enjoyable experience!

Wir verbrachten 5 Nächte in Elizabeths Apartment. Diese Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr schönen Lage. Jeden Morgen ist die Landschaft um uns herum unglaublich schön. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und sauber. Elisabeth und Denis waren sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Diese beiden gaben uns Eier vom Bauernhof, Frühstück und zeigten uns, wo wir besuche sollten. Wenn wir die Möglichkeit haben, würden wir gerne länger bleiben. Wir danken Elisabeth und Denis für die wundervollen Urlauben.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay on this property and had everything we needed. I think 3 nights would have been best to have more than one full day to relax. Coming from the city, we felt drenched in nature and the beautiful sounds of birds. The noise continues at night with the nocturnal creatures- possums on the roof! The only thing ruining our serenity was me- taking photos!! but how could I not? We enjoyed hanging out at the river. My two kids liked visiting the chickens and collecting eggs. The other animals kept their distance but provided a peaceful outlook. As per other reviews - you do need a lot of mosquito repellent day and night and to just embrace the older cabin vibe. Thanks for the experience.

Such a cozy and cute cottage for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We loved staying here - seeing the horses and cows, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kate was very responsive as well for anything we needed.

We really enjoyed our time. It's private and peaceful at the back of the property (seperate driveway) and well located to nearby towns. The cottage is really comfortable and great value for money. Highly recommend also if you're keen on fishing and taking the boat out to Nillahcootie.

We had the most beautiful family getaway and loved the peace and quiet while we were there. The photos don’t really do the sunrises, sunsets and outlook over the valley and rolling hills justice. The local Taralga township was just down the road and just as quiet.

A beautiful country surrounding, with a very engaged host, who talks you through all things country, and has a lot of time for the little ones 👍

Mads.. we have no words!! We couldn’t have asked for a more tranquil, quiet, relaxing getaway! We explored a portion of the gardens until finding the video on BHG from the owners of the house and realised they were happy for us to explore more (we needed to see the wisteria even if it is autumn) we just didn’t want to disturb others. The gardens have inspired us for our future home! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and set in an incredible location to make it private. Kangaroos jumped past our windows. We could see birds in the lake. We strolled and found horses to pat and some sheep and chickens enjoying foraging. Would’ve love to have seen the peacock roaming but even a kelpie came close to the cottage to say hello from a distance. The small touches of breakfast in the fridge made all the difference! You were prompt with your replies while we stayed and we cannot thank you enough! We cannot wait to come back and make more lifetime memories in this location!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

Wonderful Airbnb and host. Gorgeous views over the little dam with lots of wildlife to enjoy watching from the deck with your morning cuppa. The place is so quiet and comfortable with many small and unexpected luxuries and little extras. You will have absolutely everything you need, including ample firewood and even toasting forks for the provided marshmallows! We loved the breakfast hamper which was incredibly generous and delicious. Genevieve was a very proactive host who clearly cares deeply about the quality of her property and guest’s experience there. She made sure we had the right directions to find her place safely. Check in was a breeze and a lovely guest book answered all our questions and more. We even had a late check out which was such a relaxing way to finish the weekend. I would recommend hilltop to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away- great stay and thanks again!

I had a wonderful stay. The house is just lovely, like stepping back in time but without giving up the modern comforts like wifi. Great to have a fire place. My dogs had a great time, the dogs there are friendly and very sweet. View is gorgeous and it’s so peaceful. Would happily stay again. Thanks for having us Tim and Chontelle.

Lovely accomodation. Peaceful location with gorgeous views - wonderful to see the kangaroos and sheep grazing throughout the day. Cute playground was enjoyed by the kids. Very well equipped kitchen with big oven - great to have a selection of spices available too. Responsive hosts and good layout with bedrooms away from the communal areas. Nice to have an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Central heating worked perfectly. Beds were very comfy and it was a pleasant surprise to have small amenities (eg toothbrushes and paste) provided. Overall a great stay.

Alex’s place was an amazing little getaway for us. It was peaceful, well equipped and actually more spacious than the photos do it justice! Early check in and late check out was an unreal surprise. Only a short drive away from Moss Vale and some great wineries and lunch spots.

Jo was a great host - welcomed us as soon as we reached the place and offered great flexibility with check-in and out. The creek walk that she suggested from within the property was nice and my daughter still misses Toby & Rosie (two lovely dogs) that were our companions throughout the stay!

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. We stayed at Riverview for 3 nights with our 2 children and felt it was perfect for our holiday in Mudgee. Short easy drive into town. Beautiful surrounds and very peaceful. Place had everything you could want. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic family stay. The kids had the best time running around and playing on the big grassy area. The views over the paddocks are stunning. The house was comfy and warm. We couldn’t fault our stay. So much room and so so peaceful.

A Truly Memorable Stay, Our family had an absolute fantastic time. We felt welcomed and looked after. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure the kids were having a great time. They spent time with us each day, showing the children around the farm, introducing them to the animals, letting them help with the feeding, and even setting up an Easter Egg Hunt for our family. It was such a hands-on, authentic farm experience – the kids absolutely loved it, and so did we. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to go back. Mooey’s is a true gem – highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine farm stay with caring hosts and a great atmosphere!

What an enchanting experience we had staying at Zoe's Watershed Barn in Roberston. It was just beautiful, with an open fire outside under which to look at the stars - of which there are so many in the night country skies! The accommodation has everything you need for a cosy night in and the kitchen was great and easy to work in. Zoe kindly provided some fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was very thoughtful. The loft bedroom under bud lights was magic at the end of the day and was so comfortable and peaceful. We loved the windows in the ceiling. Close to the village of Robertson which has wonderful restaurants/cafes like Moonacres and Roberston pub as well as Bowral with its diverse array of retail shopping. Spoilt for choice with wineries all around and not to miss the nature walk offered at the Illawarra Fly. We wanted to stay longer and will be back! Thank you so much Zoe! Best, Tash
