We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The house was beautifully positioned next to a walking track along the rain forest edge, leading to the beach. Whilst the yard and house were clearly visible to the track, I only saw a handful of people walk past. The house itself was well equipped with a coffee machine, water carbonator, wifi, and we were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail. I loved staying here watching the Monarch Butterflies, and it was the recharge I needed. It was within walking distance of the bars, restaurants, shops and more importantly the beach. Thanks for an amazing stay Jacqueline!

Best Air bnb we've ever experienced! Unbelievable location First class equipped kitchen ... Amber has literally thought of everything. All the little touches that make it a home away from home! Firstly the layout of the house has been well thought out and suited our party of two families of all ages. Enough space for everyone to spread out but excellent to all gather on the deck or in the huge living area! We just loved it and communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property and host to everyone.

We spent 6 nights at Ruth’s cottage and it was absolutely perfect! Fantastic location, away from the bustle but close to amenities and perfectly located for exploring the area. We are avid birders and every morning we would bird the property while having coffee - it really is a special spot, and we were able to explore all of the birding hot spots in Cairns and Atherton easily from here. Totally recommend!

We'd love to stay again - great place for a small group of adults exploring the Tablelands. Seemed like it would be great for kids too. Dearnna was lovely to deal with - very responsive to messages and gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do nearby. The place was spacious and very clean. The yard was large and we had access to the garage as well. Nicely decorated and great finishing touches that made it an easy and comfortable place to stay. We drove to Atherton and Davies Creek from the house for day trips, so it was a great place to base ourselves to explore the tablelands.

A beautiful location with the sea just outside! Sunrises are superb. Shame you can’t swim in the sea due to the crocs.

Great location! Very peaceful and close to the village. And we really enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake.

Great house, short walk to the dam. Fantastic activities to keep everyone amused (pool table, ping pong, air hockey, board games, bikes, kayaks).

A home away from home. An amazing place to stay. Judi and David made us feel truly at home and nothing was too much to ask. By the end of your stay they are friends rather than air bnb hosts. Everything you could ever need was in there. We would definitely visit here again.

Sally is een geweldige host, die goed bereikbaar is en ons altijd vriendelijk heeft geholpen. Ze gaf ook om ons toen er bosbranden in de buurt kwamen door ons wakker te bellen en toen hebben we haar nog kunnen helpen om de huis zo min mogelijk brandbaar te maken.

Uno de los alojamientos mejor equipados que he visto, la cocina tenía absolutamente de todo! La anfitriona muy agradable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. El apartamento es muy espacioso y se encuentra muy limpio, lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

Diana's property is situated in a quiet, peaceful and private location, yet only minutes away from Yungaburra, lakes, waterfalls and surrounding walking tracks. Beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by bush land. It’s the perfect place for completely unwinding and relaxing. You can choose to hide out the whole time you’re there or take a short trip into Mareeba and surrounding activities. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all.

We had a fabulous stay at Jeanie’s, the location is a wonderful, peaceful spot. Jeanie was a perfect host, attentive, friendly but also gives you all the space you need to relax. She provided a great welcome pack of food and drink and allowed us to check in early which was a big help as we had an early flight. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and having access to the pool as well as a private spa was wonderful. We couldn’t recommend Jeanie’s highly enough, truly a fabulous Airbnb experience!

Beautifil space, after a day of hiking, the spa was a welcomed comfort. TV was great. Our absolute favourite was the green space windows, made us feel like we were in rainforest and not surburbia. Happily stay again.

Very peaceful location for exploring the Atherton Tablelands for a few days - we enjoyed our stay, great value for money, comfortable bed, all the essentials and the swim spa was especially great! Definitely recommend visiting the local hot springs at Nettle Creek too!
