The Magic House is in the heart of Hawthorne's charming restaurant and boutique district: 2 blocks to SE Hawthorne, 3 blocks to SE Division, 15 min to the airport, 10 min to Downtown and the Convention Center, 2 blocks to the Hawthorne Theatre. You get the entire Magic Attic with a private bathroom. Other guests staying on the Magic 2nd Floor will share the front door, stairway, 2nd floor hallway. Other guests will be on the 1st Floor Casa Magica.

We offer an elegant, cozy, private guest room with private ensuite bathroom, it's own private entrance and private arbored deck. The carrera marble bath tiles are heated for winters, and the deck and garden have seating areas for summer. Like a little hotel room, this queen-bed suite is ideal for 1 or 2 who would like an entirely separate space, but don't need a full kitchen. The room features microwave, mini-fridge, teakettle & basic flatware - ideal for simple breakfasts or reheated leftovers.

Peaceful Loft - Close to shops, Train & Downtown

Our peaceful detached apartment is located in Irvington, a beautiful historical neighborhood 7 minutes from downtown. You would not need a car as you can walk to the MAX train station. We furnished our space with a comfortable brand new king size bed and full size sleeper sofa. Bedding & duvet cover washed every time. The decoration is tropical inspired art and from Hawaii. There is a cute and equipped kitchenette with coffee maker, tea make, microwave, dishwasher electric range for small meals.

Take a stroll around the award winning (and oldest) rose garden in the City of Roses across the street in Peninsula Park. At home, this second story studio has extra space in the meditation loft, a full kitchen, fast internet, and projector for streaming. This light and bright studio is the lower level of our family home in the Piedmont neighborhood of NE Portland. Enjoy your own entrance and private space. This open studio can accommodate two people with a soft and comfortable queen bed, an eating area with table and chairs, a private bathroom with tile shower, TV, and kitchenette. While there is no shared space, please keep in mind you may hear footsteps, voices, or noise from above at points throughout the day, and we do have small children.
