Very authentic and memorable stay in the box car. The place has a peaceful and welcoming energy, and is surprisingly functional for its size. Although we didn't meet, its clear to me that the hosts are lovely people. In my view, this is an exceptional type of place and experience that seems harder to come by these days, so I am grateful that we found it.

Loved the location. Trails, restaurant and nice bookstore nearby. I'd recommend the breakfast sandwiches and turkish coffee at Satellite Coffee also.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lazy J ranch. The space was really comfortable with all the amenities and extras to make the stay feel like home. Jason is a superior host, let us have some time with new baby lambs, and his family graciously invited our son to play. We are already hoping to be back!

Melanie's place was beautiful, we only stayed a night but would definitely recommend others to stay there and would return myself if I'm in Santa Fe. The space had everything we needed and I loved the outdoor patio. It feels safe and peaceful, and it's a short drive to everything in Santa Fe. Melanie was extremely kind and helpful as a host!

Our stay at Sanjay’s house exceeded our expectations. The house is both beautiful and unique and ideal for a large family or two families to share. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was to make our stay comfortable. The addeded benefits of the house having a hot tub and a fire pit with an amazing view of the mountains made for even a more unique experience. The house also has two wood fire ovens which were not only fun to use, but added additional heat to the house which was lovely. Our family has three boys and the second floor was perfect for them to have their own space and living room to hook up their PlayStation…a wonderful amenity for everyone to have their own space at the end of a long day skiing. We highly recommend Sanjay’s house and are already planning our next stay!

we had an amazing few days of rest and relaxation. The house was absolutely beautiful with this gigantic stone fireplace. we had a roaring fire in it each night and it was really awesome!

I visited from Chicago for a a fairly long stay (~12 days), and it was a great experience! The living space was very cozy and had a very usable kitchen. The views of the mountains during the morning and evening were pretty great, and the location was far enough away from people to remain quiet while still being close enough to grab groceries on a whim. Plenty of outdoor activities to do in the nearby area.

We absolutely loved Meghan's beautiful home! Check in was seamless. Meghan was helpful and easy to communicate with. The house was better than expected. You won't know until you experience its entirety. So well thought out. Welcoming, warm and comfy. We felt right at home. The goats were the GOAT! So sweet and a happy bonus to our stay. Cant wait to come back!

We highly recommend Doug & Jayme’s place. We went on this trip during the Holy Week, and it gave us exactly what we were looking for on this trip. The place is so beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The night sky is spectacular especially on the second floor of our bougie. We got the peace and tranquility we wanted, but it’s close to everything we needed and all the fun things, too! Jayme & Doug are excellent hosts! Very responsive and helpful. We love all their recommendations especially the restaurants. The place is very clean and exactly as advertised.

We absolutely loved our time at Mountain + Lavender Dreams! The home was beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked with everything you could need to cook, relax, play, and even entertain a child. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of thought into making it a welcoming and comfortable space. One of the highlights of our stay was its proximity to Chimney Rock National Monument, an amazing archaeological site built by the Puebloans. We hiked to the top and had the entire site to ourselves—such a special experience. The wood-burning hot tub and sauna in the backyard were dreamy. My only regret? Not having enough time to finish the puzzle I started! This place is a gem—we’re already dreaming of coming back.

We have stayed at Kara's casita multiple times because it is so welcoming, unique, and peaceful. Kara is always really responsive to any questions we may have. The casita has a calm, peaceful feel to it, and the photos cannot do justice. We LOVE staying here! Kathy and Larry

My friend and I (both women in our mid-twenties) loved staying with Monique for three nights. She was happy to accommodate our late arrival time and even let us stay longer on our final day. I especially enjoyed meeting her menagerie of animals and soaking in the desert sunrises and sunsets each day. Monique also gave us stellar local recommendations (including visiting the lovely nearby town of Madrid) and was an all-around fantastic host. The AirStream was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day (~80s) or the chillier nights (~40s). It’s also well-situated, about 20-30 minutes to Santa Fe and less than an hour to Albuquerque. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to other young folks traveling as couple or pair of friends.

We were sad to leave this beautiful house! This was our second stay here, both times staying for a month, so that should speak to how highly we rate this airbnb. The location is perfect to get away from the city, but still close enough to have easy access to everything you need. The Corrales community itself is a great home base, with the Farm Stand for coffee and Ex Novo for beer, and a nice path along the canal for dog walks. Leah is super responsive and have always had a great experience communicating with the hosts. We can't recommend this place enough and hope to come back again in the future.

This is such a charming, beautiful, serene place to stay, both the home and the atmosphere and grounds of the former horse farm. Everything about it shows it's well loved and cared for. Really clean! And so special to be able to stay a little while in Algodones! I would definitely love to stay here again......

Had a lovely time staying at Patty and Juan's. The location in Taos was great - close to everything. So much to do there. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts were very friendly and responsive, and gave us lots of great suggestions for things to do and see. Hope we can come back soon!

Pete and Nikki were responsive, understanding, friendly, and accommodating. The place was exactly as described online and me and my friends had a wonderful few days enjoying both the town and the home. It is absolutely wonderful for small groups of 4-6 people to have a cozy hangout and launch point for the Springs, Wolf Creek, Durango/Purgatory/Mesa Verde and return home to a place where all can diffuse, relax, and take the 2 minutes walk to the river park down the road. This was my tenth time in PS and my favorite experience so far

This Air BnB is as listed and as the other reviews have shared - really cool, cozy, and neat. The hosts were lovely and kind and we were happy to meet them and their family as their house is right on the property. My kids were playing football and cornhole outside. despite several bed options, we all crammed into the beds on the loft to have the star view at night. It was beautiful to see and we enjoyed seeing their ducks too. We just stayed one night, but it was a really nice place to unwind and we would recommend it.

Steve's place was amazing! Beautiful views everywhere you look, and the coziest adobe home to stay in.

Sue and Ken were awesome hosts!! They were really helpful and they provided everything a person needed and then some. As far as the Bunkhouse goes it was very clean and cozy place tucked backed in the woods and fully stocked with whatever you would need!! Great place and even better hosts, would recommend this place to anyone!!

We loved our stay at the strawbale cottage! It is spacious, lovely, and there are so many interesting and thoughtful details. Jennifer was very helpful and kind when our travel plans shifted due to bad weather. And the friendly black & white kitty who came to visit was an extra bonus! We'd love to stay here again if we're back in the Durango area.

Everything was great, the place was very clean, and the location was excellent for us since we went to rest. The house had everything we needed. My children enjoyed the place a lot since it had many things for them. Besides the beautiful view, we enjoyed watching the horses and we also saw deer. The hot tub was perfect with the weather. I would definitely stay here again.
