Situated the picturesque village of Gileston in the grounds of the 400 year old Grade II listed thatched cottage, Rose Cottage. The property is 10 minutes walk away from the beautiful Glamorgan Heritage coast and the Welsh Coastal path. There are loads of beautiful walks nearby aswell as two pubs (15 minute walk) and a large co-op (10 minute walk). Wedding venue Gileston Manor is a 1 minute walk away. This stunning position is only a few yards from coastal walks and cycling routes. Clevedon's famous marine lake, which is open all year for wild swimming, is a short stroll away as are the local pub, post office and some lovely coffee shops a little further along the seafront.

The Mechanic's Rest is our latest addition to the Ellenborough Hall Holiday Flats. The old workshop for the Hall has recently been lovingly restored into holiday accommodation. On the ground floor is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen , a leather sofa, single chair, a TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs on the Mezzanine is a luxury king size bed. Mechanic's Rest is fully self contained with secure off road parking.

Penarth is a seaside town full of charm and character, with an Art Deco Pier, parks and independent shops and restaurants. It is only 15 minutes away from Cardiff by train and is close to the coast and Cardiff Bay. The flat is ideal for families, or small groups of guests who enjoy the outdoors but also want the convenience of being close to a capital city.

Built new in 2017, it is a bright, spacious and contemporary home. A well decorated and comfortable place to stay. P.S. The sunsets are amazing!
