Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

Most people who visit Pagosa Springs want to spend their time outside which you can do here, even when you get home. The partially covered 40-foot-long deck upstairs and 17 foot covered deck downstairs face west so you get to enjoy breakfast or your morning coffee al fresco and when you get home you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets.

Lakeside Haven

Welcome to our little slice of heaven. The apartment is above our detached garage and accessed through a separate private entrance. We've equipped it with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The neighborhood offers a lake (with a walking trail) right across the street, National Forest access, and wildlife (deer, turkeys, the occasional bear). We do live onsite and are here should you have questions or need recommendations.

This guest studio is surrounded by tall Ponderosa Pines. The deer love to hang out in the shade of the oak brush during the day. There is a front/back porch to enjoy Colorado sun with your own private hot tub (included in the price). Sorry, no pets!
