We stayed at Ned’s place for a night on our way up to Byron bay with our toddler and doggie it was a great half way spot from Sydney and easy location close to the main road yet far enough to feel like a country get-away. We were greeted by two lovely doggies and our dog was instantly excited. We also visited the goats and ducks they were very friendly and tame. Our toddler really enjoyed seeing the animals and running around in the farm land. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Except a high chair. We took our own travel cot but also kindly got offered to borrow one. I would highly recommend this for a night or two if you are looking for a peaceful country stay.

We had great stay. Thankfull for the extreme good ramp they made for my wheelchair. Swimming pool and spa are a bonus the place needs. Trips to Port Macquairie and Kempsey.

My short stay at Mike and Christine’s Firefly Cottage was great! Mike was very easy to communicate with and friendly. We loved the pool table and darts within the cottage and access to the pool and tennis court was a nice inclusion. Note: Wi-Fi and mobile data coverage was not the best during our stay, but this may have been to recent poor weather and other factors. Mike did try to help out where he could. We unfortunately could not get the Apple TV to work. We loved the area and how relaxing it was, with some minor road noise from cars passing along the road (infrequent). The inclusion of a bottle of wine and food staples were appreciated. The new indoor wood heater and outdoor Chiminea worked great and kept us warm! A short 15 minute drive to Nabiac was convenient for food shopping etc. Thanks Mike!

The property is beautiful and so peaceful! We very much enjoyed the atmosphere even in heavy rains we were nice and cosy looking out at the rain on the river!

Peaceful and relaxing. A great place to unwind and enjoy the sound of the forest in very comfortable accommodation. The welcome hamper was beautiful as were all the extra decorative pieces around the spacious room.

Beautiful relaxing cottage stay at The Croft. The location was peaceful and quiet. The comfort of all the furnishings especially the bed was exceptional. The ammenities and communication were wonderful. Fantastic that it was pet friendly also as there were little paths for the dog to be walked on around the cottage in the morning and evening. This cottage is very cosy, warm and relaxed, I would recommend this beautiful cottage stay to anyone and I will be staying again.

It was a wonderful Easter break in a beautiful, serene setting overlooking a pond and fields full of cows. Set near the end of the road in farmland, the only sounds were those of nature and at night the sky was full of stars! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Highly recommend Cedar Cottage! Beautiful place, clean, aesthetic, fully equipped with everything you need for a peaceful nice holiday away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had a lot of useful supplies for cooking! Kerry is an amazing host and was very helpful with all instructions and also catered to our needs proactively. We were even allowed a later check out as we have a small baby, which was super helpful and kind of her. Thank you so much we had an amazing time

Had a lovely stay at the Cottage. Comfy bed in well appointed and spacious surrounds and truly welcoming for our fur baby.

The place is very nice and the area is quiet. The beach is close and there are a few cafes around.

My husband and had the pleasure of spending a week at the cottage to relax and rejuvenate after a very busy month. The location is perfectly serene and peaceful. Our hosts were very responsive and ensured that the cottage was well stocked. Everything we needed was there, and Sam assured us that if we needed anything that she could help us out. The fully fenced yard was thoroughly enjoyed by our labradoodle. She had fun trying to figure out exactly what the fluffy animals with beards and horns were all about (friendly goats). We loved the space that offered a range of views and areas to relax and read in. We also enjoyed the walks and the peaceful sounds of nature, including the soothinfg sound of the rapids from the surrounding creeks (there had just been a lot of rain and plenty of water flowing). I highly recommend anyone who wants to spend time in nature with all the luxuries of a comfy bed, cozy fire pit and a clawfoot tub to take the time to escape to the valley cottage.

Fantastic Place. Loved absolutely everything. Huge bonus that we could have our beloved doggo with us. The pool and Tennis court were well used by us as was the back verandah where we ate, played games and just chilled. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

A stunning location on the beach - a house that makes you feel instantly relaxed. A fabulous spot for a family holiday.

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Great spot to stay. Close to the beach, lagoon and shops. It's not the newest or most modern place, but what else do you need when you're only 100metres from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Maria has a lovely apartment, that is separate from the main house in the backyard. Very clean and tidy with all the amenities you may need. Maria was very helpful and a great host. Nice area and close to get to the town and beaches. Will come here again. Thanks for having me

This was our second visit to this home and we loved it just as much as our first. The location is perfect, it is a great price and works well for longer stays.

located in a pristine, beautiful area of North Haven- This home was exactly how it was depicted and so much more :) there was alot to do in the area especially for families to swim and sight see. I highly recommend staying at this perfect getaway cottage!

Barrington hideaway was exactly what we were after when we booked our weekend get away. Authentic cabins tucked away down by the river. We were lucky enough to spot platypus playing down in the river every day. We'll definitely revisit.

Great farm house and property. The hosts I feel had thought of everything to make the stay so enjoyable. The ease to explore the property & river. Very comfortable home with everything we needed & wanted. Chickens provided fresh eggs everyday - bonus. Great base to explore the wider region . Easy drive to Barrington and Gloucester for restaurants, cafes & shops.
