Noddfa (refuge/sanctuary) offgrid woodland retreat

Noddfa was built in the summer of 2020 initially as a writer's retreat for the owner. It is located in a magical spot deep in the 60 acres of private woodland belonging to Coed Hills Rural Artspace, a low impact community of friendly, artistically-inclined, wonderful people - 14 of which live scattered about the site in their own hand-built dwellings. Noddfa is very much the owners personal space with lots of evidence of his life and interests. It offers comfortable off-grid peace and seclusion.

Oak Cottage - an inclusive peaceful haven

A very central yet peaceful apartment offering gracious rooms. Although this is part of our home, when guests come they have exclusive use of these rooms originally set apart as my mother’s annex. The large lounge has comfortable furniture and opens to a small kitchen with room to dine. The two bedrooms have bathrooms - upstairs bedroom has limited headroom and the bathroom is separated by a curtain. Sunroom opens to a shared pool May to Sept and has two sofa beds. A private terrace to the rear

Nestled in the Mendip hills, The Swangle is a private, restful, rural retreat. The Swangle is perfectly positioned for cyclists and walkers. Leave your car at the Swangle and head for the hills. Including a fully enclosed woodland garden, a hot tub, a summer house, and a fire pit. Great for kids and dogs. Bristol Airport and the M5, J21, country pubs, takeaways, shops, and all the facilities of Weston Super Mare are 15/20 mins away. There is space for one car. No on street parking available.

The studio benefits from a highly fitted and equipped kitchen, also a triple sofa, fridge freezer, a TV, wiFi, Comfortable double bed, very clean bathroom Shower, towels soap and shampoo provided. Also a hospitality welcome coffee, tea and sugar or sweeteners provided. The Guests can use the swimming pool, as well as the Gymnasium free of charge.

The site is very close to Cardiff bay offering a variety of stunning walks and opportunities for exploring the beautiful South Wales coast. Porthkerry is a park in the Vale of Glamorgan, a reigion famed for it's many independent shops and eateries, legendary history, and beautiful countryside and coastline. All is within a short drive, take in the sandy beaches of Porthcawl or take a hike in Porthkerry County Park. It's a quite site, privately owned with a friendly pub(seasonal opening)

Quail Cottage is a charming retreat nestled within a gated estate, offering a secure setting and easy access to nearby attractions. Perfect for families or groups, it features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. With 3 cosy double bedrooms (one en-suite ) and shared family bathroom. The Cottage has the additional benefit to a heated shared pool, available April to October 7am-7pm. Quail Cottage is the perfect countryside escape just a short stroll from Cowbridge.

Our one-storey cottage has beautiful open-plan living. Snuggle up to the cosy wood burning stove. Enjoy a peaceful nights rest in our zip and link king size bed, which can alternatively be made into twin beds, complete with feather and down bedding. En-suite bathroom. The walled garden offers a serene space to enjoy your morning coffee whilst listening to the birds sing. This garden is in turn in the middle of the beautiful Merthyr Mawr estate gardens which are yours to explore.
