There's a ceiling fan when the breeze is off duty. Enjoy the shower deck. Kitchen has sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pod thingamajig. You'll need a car: We're 7 min to the shops, 13 minutes to the river, 15 minutes to the surf, 25 min to the hinterland waterfalls but only 0 minutes to tranquility. Host on premises.

Enjoy a 30sec walk to the beach, local coffee or food, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace in those colder months. Suitable for a couple (sorry no kids) It’s a loft, so the bedroom area has ladder like steps and a low roof. But it all adds to the charm. Enjoy sitting in the tree tops and watching the world go by in our little beachside town.

Fenced yard and secure off street parking 1 m from unit. It has a fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning. 2 blocks to beach, The Beachouse Hotel and Enzo's Café. Ride our free push bikes to beach which is great for swimming, kayaking, SUP & fishing. Or walk 8 minutes to the heart of Scarness.

The Cubby House

Welcome to the Cubby House! It's time to slow down, soak up the scenery and recharge those depleted batteries. Our renovated shipping container is on a private airstrip just near the country town of Woodford, Queensland. It's a private and peaceful escape, with the occasional rumbles of aircraft heard in the distance. If you'd like to enjoy the countryside from above, scenic flights are available at an additional cost. Alternatively, recreational pilots are welcome to fly in and stay.
