You can hike right out the door, and enjoy out-of-this-world star gazing, and amazing sunrises and sunsets!

This 800 square foot casita makes the perfect weekend or week-long getaway for a couple or small family looking for a unique experience in beautiful Abiquiu. Sip your coffee outside or along the river, practice yoga, meditate, read, write, stargaze, bird watch and take in the beauty of the Chama River Valley, right in the heart of Tewa country!

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)
