In most cases greeting you on arrival Walk just 2 minutes to reach pristine Shelly and Angel beaches, with many coffee and dining options also only a stone’s throw away. These include local hangout Belle General, The Surf Club by the water, and the coffee and food cart at Flat Rock. The Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is 10 minutes away so very accessible for fly in guests. Regular bus services to town, Byron Bay & Lennox with a bus stop only minutes away. Complimentary use of bikes is available to enjoy the numerous coastal bike & walking paths. A car is recommended to take full advantage of all the area has to offer. The Muddy (as it is affectionately known) is a lovely place to stop for a weekend , week or even longer. This converted mud brick farm shed offers complete tranquility with high-end design and furnishing. The Muddy offers a lovely one bedroom sanctuary complete with ensuite, full kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine) and a large lounge with leather couches, TV and relaxing ambiance. Outside you'll find a Baby Q , comfy chairs, a dining table and amazing outdoor shower. All overlooking a dam.

The studio is located at the rear of the main house and faces away from it so is quiet and private. There is rear lane entry and covered parking for your vehicle. Amenities include: wifi; a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; separate bathroom; tv and dvd player; air conditioning; and a ‘5 star’ king size bed (super comfy!). Basics such as teabags, coffee, milk, and sugar are provided. There is a SPAR supermarket, bottle shop, post office and laundromat 200 metres away.

Tranquil in Alstonville (self-contained house)

Self-contained granny flat located in Alstonville. Only 10 mins from Ballina, 15 mins from Lennox Head, 20 mins from Lismore & 25 mins from Byron Bay. Alstonville is a great base to explore the area. The house has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room and zip-apart single beds in the other which can be converted into a king bed (please let us know your preferred bedding at time of booking). It also has its own driveway access offering secure off street parking. No Schoolies allowed

The Rainforest Guesthouse is a situated in the beautiful sub-tropical rainforest area of the Far North Coast. You are surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 100 metres from our beautiful swimming hole and rainforest. You may spot a koala, platypus or wallaby and you will definitely see many beautiful birds. Sorry no dogs as we have a dog that loves people but not other dogs. 15 minutes to Minyon Falls and the Nightcap National park. 30 minutes to iconic Nimbin. 35 minutes to Byron Bay.

Light and airy with lots of timber and character, the house is simply furnished with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing retreat from busy lives, roads and city noise. A great base for exploring the lush northern rivers hinterland and stunning beaches or just a place to rest on a long road trip.

Miki's

Lennox Head is a coastal community between Byron Bay and Ballina. Miki’s is in a residential area about 3km from Lennox Head Beach and Boulders Beach. The area is hilly so it’s best to have a car. The space, in a single level home is private and quiet with leafy views to the north. Guests have their own entrance, en-suite bathroom and a small, light food preparation area. There’s also a private balcony with a BBQ. Original artworks in the bright and airy room make it unique.
