Sightseeing

In addition to the historical significance of the Park, there are beautiful picnic grounds with lots of tide pools to explore. Drive around the building and at the end of the picnic grounds, there is a trail along the coast. This trail goes for miles and there is lots to explore. Be sure to have sunscreen and water if planning a long hike. There is no snorkeling allowed in the Park, but right next to it is Two-Step; the best snorkeling in Big Island.
