The most famous taco cart in town, Tacos Don Rafa was also the first street taco cart in Salt Lake City. Aside from tasty tacos, they also have killer burritos and quesadillas. Fresh, delicious, and best of all, open until midnight every day.

This strange sculpture garden was created by Thomas Child, a masonry contractor, beginning in 1945 through 1963 (the year Child passed away). It is free to the public, and the only designated Visionary Art Environment in Utah.

And across the street is one of our favorite affordable restaurants, The Park Cafe.

Fill up your water bottles with this spring water that comes from an aquifer a few miles to the north. The Artesian Well continues to provide water to the people of the Salt Lake Valley to this day. It’s water, which is high in minerals, attracts thousands of visitors each year from across the Wasatch Front. This Central City gem recently received renovations to enhance the community’s experience. These renovations includes 360-degree access to the well with more spigots, which can fill five-gallon jugs. The park is now more visible and welcoming, with a garden-like feel with regionally appropriate vegetation and permeable pavement.
