Due to its well preserved homesteads, scenic mountain views, abundant wildlife, Cades Cove today is the single most popular destination for visitors to the park, attracting over two million visitors a year.
A one-way, 11 mile paved loop around Cades Cove drag thousands of visitor daily, and can take over four hours to traverse during tourist season.
