If you're looking for a cheaper option, Brody's has low to moderate prices with food that should be priced way higher! Their Carne Asada with Garlic Butter Sauce is my absolute "go to" entree. Their chicken tacos are an excellent appetizer, and the Horchata is a lovely sweet drink. They are local to Cedar City and family run. You will see local art along the walls of Brody's.

Milt's is an amazing Western steakhouse local only to Cedar City! The service is stellar and the setting makes you feel right at home. Their steaks, seafood and pasta have great home cooked flavor.

This bakery is so unique and everything tastes amazing! They have many flavors of ice cream and so many pastries I wouldn't even know where to start. They also decorate cakes and cater. The atmosphere is beautiful and definitely worth a stop in for dessert.

It's absolutely gorgeous! Cedar Breaks is a seasonal must see! The rock formations are very unique and picturesque. In the winter the access highway is often closed due to snow. Absolutely check the road status before you go. It's definitely worth the afternoon to go see. This is one of my personal favorites.

Sand Hollow Reservoir is 52 minutes from Cedar City. It has a lovely red sand beach, cliff jumping areas, and rentals for jet skis, kayaks and other watercrafts. I've had many fun summer days at Sand Hollow. Just check for Swimmer's Itch levels on their website before you visit. It's an unpleasant mild parasite that gives you a rash. Although I've been several times I have never gotten Swimmer's Itch, just be aware of it and listen to the rangers there.
