This house was a great find! There was a lot of space and it reminded me of visiting the family cabin in the summer at the lake. Even though it was a really hot day, there was a lovely breeze through the window by the dining room table, and the neighborhood was quiet enough that you could enjoy having the windows open. Everything worked well, we felt right at home, and we would have stayed longer if there hadn't been another booking immediately following us. Would definitely recommend, and would book here again!

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed for longer. The setting is ideal, the mesh screen walls make you feel like you’re camping out in the jungle but with all the creature comforts of being ‘at home’. Wouter is a great host, friendly, kind & helpful & even gave us a lift down to the beach. If you haven’t got a car it’s still doable, Uber works here and Wouter also gave us taxi nos. So don’t worry if you’ve not got wheels, this is still a perfect option!

Eddie’s place is a real gem. Incredible privacy and views, well appointed and comfortable home. The kitchen comes very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Small details make his place extra wonderful. High quality linens, blankets, beautifully manicured garden and lawn. Henry, the groundskeeper is lovely. My children had so much fun playing hide and seek on the generous property and I loved waking up before sunrise, sitting on the deck and listening to a million birds beautifully singing through day break. My kids said they loved the home and want to come back!!

Clara was a wonderful host - so kind and thoughtful. Place was beautiful, in serene nature with river access. Couldn't ask for anything more, it was perfect! I would go back in a heartbeat. The access to the river was amazing, the place was stunning, would recommend anyone looking for a tranquil getaway. It was well-stocked and also very large. Airconditioning was installed half-way through my visit, which was wonderful in the heat. Thanks Clara! Note for fellow digital nomads: This area occasionally experiences short power outages, usually due to weather. I’d recommend having an internet backup plan just in case—an eSIM with data worked really well for me (I used Airalo). While coverage can vary along this road, this particular Airbnb had excellent Wi-Fi (40mbps) and strong eSIM reception. With both high-speed internet and a reliable backup, it was a great spot for working online, even with higher bandwidth needs. It was the best internet experience I had in all of Costa Rica.

Beautiful house with great pool and ocean views in a convenient location to Dominicalito beach (which had smaller waves and was perfect for kids). The towns of Uvita and Dominical are also close and easy to go there for dinner and groceries. The views were gorgeous and the house is wonderfully designed for a family. The traditional Costa Rican breakfasts that Yigzy prepared, along with lots of fresh fruit, were wonderful. Cheyenne was super responsive and helpful and we did many of the activities she recommended (river rafting, canyoning/rappelling, boating, etc) and they were all great excursions. In general, it was great to have her help for making car arrangements to San Jose airport, restaurant recommendations, etc. She and her husband live on the property, also the caretaker, Kiko, but it is 5 acres with dense vegetation and and the house is very private. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again!

La vista y las instalaciones muy cómodas y el trato con Mike muy bien ,le agradezco q nos dejara hospedarnos en su departamento muy bien todo eso si es imprescindible el carro 4x4 como dice el la publicación pero todo muy bien a solo 7 minutos de un súper muy bien surtido ,muy fácil de llegar, muy céntrico la verdad espero poder volver a visitarlo 🤞✌️

We enjoyed this beautiful home for a family reunion and were delighted with everything! Roberto & Diana were always available for friendly advice and support (for the only thing we needed, a replacement bbq propane tank). We hope to return to their place in Uvita

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. We felt at ease both in the home and on the property. Our suite opened to an oasis of naturally landscaped outdoor space of ponds, streams, a river and inviting sitting areas. The home provided everything to meet our needs including cooking meals. We highly recommend this home and the area.

Kerry was an amazing host with great communication. We enjoyed the property with visits from much wildlife. Toucans galore and the monkeys so close by. The pool was a perfect place to relax and wind down. Private oasis. THANK YOU

La casa y todo su menaje es prácticamente nuevo, todo funciona a la perfección. Hay seguridad privada activada por un sistema ligado a cámaras, aire acondicionado en las dos habitaciones, la piscina es también nueva y con agua limpia. Definitivamente un lugar para tomar en cuenta en la zona del pacifico central!

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen(?) bed and the other with a twin bed and a double-twin bunk. Comfortable mattresses and good quality sheets and towels. Kitchen seemed well equipped. There were two issues that i pointed out to the hosts, so I'm assuming that they'll be fixed quickly: (1) a number of electrical outlets were dead, including in the kitchen, (2) one of the bedroom sliding windows did not lock. Given that Airbnb break-ins seem to be common at the coast, this really needs to be fixed. Personally, with those sliding doors and windows, i like to be able to block them with a stick in the track. So, if you are staying, check that all the doors and windows are locked before you go out.

First of all and very important is that there is a sloth named Anna who lives on the property, that alone was so great and magical Tim’s house has incredible endless ocean view The unit upstairs is well designed and very comfy The kitchen contains all you need and more to cook and enjoy (like non toxic pots and pans) The yoga deck is perfect with plenty equipment and we even had a class guided by Tim We had a family reunion at the villa and we enjoyed every moment The house is child friendly with loads to explore- there were games and water colours and markers, pool games, nature paths… We had all we needed and more Thank you Tim for your hospitality

Vue à couper le souffle! Beaucoup d'espace et de commodité dans la cuisine. Très tranquille. Apportez-vous cependant une petite laine, car il fait plutôt froid la nuit à l'intérieur du logement. Je recommande vivement ce logement!

Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

We spent 9 days at RSA, a truly unique and memorable time. The property is beautiful and buzzing with life. Being in the misty clouds felt surreal. We saw 100s of hummingbirds and many other birds, toads, insects, and butterflies. The variety of flowers and plants in the garden is amazing. Hiking the “puma trail” was like another world, with dense moss covered trees and hanging vines. We highly recommend touring the property with Fabian - so kind/knowledgeable/passionate. Jan and the caretaker family are also SO helpful and considerate. The home was sparkling clean. There is a huge library of books. The beds are comfortable. The coffee harvested on site is delicious! Mornings were especially lovely. A few things: a 4x4 with good clearance and a confident driver are a MUST as the road is quite steep and rocky; 2 of the 3 access roads were closed, so local attractions and amenities were hard to visit/further than expected; for kids under 5, the trails are too steep/muddy. This house is private and away from any crowds, yet a short drive to a large US style grocery store. The walk to the beach is so close you can hear the waves crashing at night in your bed. We woke up to Macaws, monkeys, parrots, iguanas, leaf cutter ants and many birds! We traveled with our children ages 14, 15 and 25. Our daughter walked to the private beach for yoga in the morning and the boys loved the pool, beach, hammock, and life-sized chess. My husband and I enjoyed coffee out back in the morning when the wildlife was ALIVE with sights and sounds of the true Costa Rica! Having space for our family to relax yet retreat to their own bedrooms for an afternoon siesta was perfect. The air-conditioning was very efficient and kept the house cool. The house was gated and secure with personnel on-site. Fatima and her family are the true gem of the home. Having her to help with questions was imperative and just an absolute treat. This home is a genuine home in Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

The home was beautiful and very clean. It is about 30 minutes from Manual Antonio Park and about a block away from a beautiful beach that we had almost entirely to ourselves. There is a little store a block away that had everything we needed to make dinner for our family. Mark was very responsive. He sent a check in video that showed exactly where the home was located, which was extremely helpful. It is actually very easy to find. Our GPS was just very unreliable so the check in video helped a lot.
