Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

My partner and I had a lovely stay. Beautiful view of the water on both sides, very private and secluded and we had everything that we needed. Cath was a great host who gave us clear instructions and local recommendations which was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely spot, the house was cosy and well equipped with comfy beds. Debbie went above and beyond when we had a flat battery in our car. Would definitely recommend this place!

A lovely spot with a peaceful outlook and recliners you can sinking into to fall asleep in the sun. The two lounge areas also meant the kids could have some space of their own. We thoroughly relaxed and loved our time. We didn't get the address in the welcome emails but Hillary was very responsive and we were sorted in no time.

What a lovely home to stay at! The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a really fabulous place with beautiful surroundings. We loved the decor and could tell a lot of time and thought had gone into making this Airbnb. The balcony overlooks the beach and if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. In terms of location, there isn’t much within walking distance however we were well aware of this before booking. However, what is great about this place, it is a good middle point for tourist destinations such as Hobart, Port Arthur or even if you wanted to travel up the East coast. Would highly recommend staying here, we had a great time. Thanks for letting us stay!

The overall house was amazing. Very clean and equipped. Peaceful environment. Wake up to a beautiful scenery. Lisa was very responsive. Just 6 min to nearest gas station or supermarket. Definitely recommend!

House was amazing couldn’t fault in any way. Clean, comfortable and perfect. Views and location of house was absolutely fabulous. Host always replied to any messages very quickly and we super helpful with some sight seeing recommendations when we asked. 10/10 stay, thank you 🙏🏼

An absolutely beautiful location and a wonderful relaxing stay in our home state.

Jason was a great host. Responsive. Facilities great for families. The horses and sheep were a highlight for the kids. Waking up to the mist and sunrise over the water was magical.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Just excellent, better than described. Everything was beyond expectations and Vicki was an exceptional host.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed yet peaceful and quiet. The view was absolutely stunning and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The home was spotless and incredibly well-maintained, with so many thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable and convenient. It was perfect for our family, with plenty of space and little touches that showed how much care the owners put into making guests feel at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway!

We had an amazing stay at Jack's place. Such an incredible view and perfect place to spend peaceful and quality time. We had great experience staying close to beach, enjoyed our bbq with hot pit in such a calm place. Specially the view is spectacular and such a lovely home to relax and enjoy the view. I would love to come back and stay there another time.

We had a fantastic stay at Opossum Bay. The place was beautifully presented with high-quality amenities throughout—nothing cheap or nasty here! Everything felt thoughtfully chosen and well cared for. We made good use of the BBQ and pizza oven, and loved going for walks to the nearby rec park. The whole experience was relaxing and memorable. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent place. Gorgeous house with great sea view. Beautiful kitchen, cooking lover’s heaven. Very good gourmet stores around. What better than have good homemade meal for together with best friends. We had good time there. You should have it too.

This beautiful beach house is exactly what you need if you're looking to completely relax. Deborah has made the space cosy, gorgeous decor, and lots of lovely touches to make the stay one ro remember. Being so close to the beach is amazing. Piers is a real hidden gem. We loved our stay- it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. We swam, fished, rode bikes, rock hopped and relaxed by the fire in the evening. The fire place kept Piers toasty and warm- the perfect place to curl up after a day out. We came to explore the Tasman peninsula but found ourselves eager to come home to Piers. We ate dinner at the Dodgers Ferry Tavern. The service was welcoming, meals were generous and the place was very kid friendly. One of the best parts was falling asleep to the gentle waves crashing on the shore- you cannot beat the location- it’s magic!
