I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guesthouse! The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect—close to the city. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. I truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

At a time when we were in between houses Leah's place was perfect for us and two dogs. In addition, there was flexibility around arrival time and unplanned extension of our stay which was greatly appreciated

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Everything was perfectly clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and tea provided for us. The beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean linens. The view of the mountains and the sea was absolutely breathtaking, and the location made it very easy to get to. Every detail was carefully thought out, making our stay truly relaxing and memorable. We would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Nice stay in a west hobart cottage with all the requirements to self cater and stay warm. We enjoyed the location as it was walkable to coffee, food, the cbd and harbour.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the space created by Michelle and Blu x The attention to detail is evident from the beautiful decor to the generous provisions - they have literally thought of everything- ensuring a comfortable experience. Michelle and Blu were the perfect hosts and their love of this property is evident in its presentation - thankfully they are happy to share it with us all 😍 Extremely comfortable beds; linens to die for and squeaky clean 🧼 This is the ONLY air BnB I didn’t feel like I had to wash dishes and utensils in before using!!! Thank you so much for sharing a space around your fireplace 🔥 and creating a memorable experience for us all - including our pet Daisy Doo. This is our new favourite place and top of the list for future visits to the Huon x. Michelle and Blu are truly amazing people and you will not be disappointed- unless you miss out !!!! Star cottage was beautiful - the location was close to large range of food options and easy walk to Sandy Bay and city - the communication with Antonia clear and super responsive - already planning return trip

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We booked this accommodation as a family, as my brother was getting married in Peppermint Bay. Lindsey was very proactive and an excellent communicator - the house was easy to find, access and enjoy. All the amenities required were provided, the view and garden were lovely. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here, and hope to arrange another booking when we are in Tasmania again.

Really beautiful place with a gorgeous view from the deck. Even though it was only 20 minutes to Hobart cbd, you were still out in a rural area which made it very relaxing. One of the best stocked AirBnBs I’ve been to with so many great amenities! Sue and Steve were also really lovely and thoughtful. E.g. we were flying in quite late, so Sue had the heater and outside light on ready for us.

We stayed at Neil & Vonnie's place away from the main roads and up on the hill, but an easy drive from Hobart City. It was cosy but had everything we needed with nice little touches that included pantry and kitchen basics as well as bathroom toiletries. The fit out was fairly new and modern with all kitchen and bathroom and laundry amenities in good working order. Vonnie welcomed us on arrival and gave a comprehensive explanation of the ins and outs of the property. There was a nice big back yard with native wildlife visitors every now and then. Highly recommended, would stay there again.

Awesome place to stay in Hobart. The location can't be beat. It's only a 15 our so minute walk to basically everything in downtown. Very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The only issue we had was the wifi. If you need to do any sort of work while traveling this might be a struggle for you. At best the download speeds were around 20mbs and the uploads were around 1-3mbs. Getting to websites or even looking at photos would take 10 minutes. All told though, after traveling for months, Yvette's place felt like home. Which was sorely needed.

We had a wonderful stay in Battery Point. The house was well located, comfortable and extremely well-equippped. We really appreciated the extra treats - the fruit and cheese platter, wine, Easter eggs and the most delicious homemade cake complete with sauce and cream. we felt very welcomed - thank you!

It was a pleasure to stay with Shelley, it's hard to find decent accommodation that will accept dogs, this not only allowed them but was happy to have them! The room was quiet and had everything we needed. Shelley communicated everything that we needed and was proactive in doing so. I would consider staying with Shelley again.

Cascade Cottage is quiet, peaceful and had all amenities for our family. We felt right at home and were very comfortable for our week. The house has plenty of heating and beds are comfy. The area is very quiet and even though the cascade female factory is across the road the main access is on the other side of the factory so it’s not busy house side. Pademelons live in the street and come out at night time to kids delight. The Cascade hotel pub up on the main road has amazing meals and The Cascade Brewery cafe has great food also. The house is only a 7-12 min drive from centre of Hobart CBD. You can park at Arglye St car park in the CBD for $4per hour and you can walk anywhere in the city. Tip: visit port Arthur first then ask for a Ticket of Leave at their ticket counter as you exit and its costs you $20 extra on top of your Port Arthur entry but gives you unlimited entry to Cascade Female Factory and back into Port Arthur of 2 years. Saves around $15 per person on CFF entry.

A great place to stay. Very relaxing and right on the river. Highly recommended.
