This was such an incredible cabin for our stay. Quiet, beautiful, comfortable for our group! Robert was very accommodating and flexible with us! Highly recommend

We came to the San Luis Valley to visit family. We came from Kansas and Oklahoma. The house far exeeded expectations. It was very stocked, kitchen had everything to cook. I did an apple pie and forgot nutmeg. I found some in the cabinet! The yard was perfect for the children. We did all the local things: aligator farm, pool, sand dunes, and even drove up to Monarch Mountain to snow tube. The dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, were perfection. The home feels so warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommended.

Great spot to stay. Our adult children immediately gave it a thumbs up (they are very picky). Very rustic and warm. We used the wood stove a lot. The cabin had a great atmosphere. Having the Rio Grande River 50 feet away didn't hurt the scenery. The cabin was well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook (we only ate out once). Of all of the airbnb places we have stayed. This was our favorite. We'll stay here again if we visit South Fork and Wolf Creek again.

We picked this location as it was between Santa Fe and Denver and allowed all our family to connect for Thanksgiving. Amazing views. We enjoyed the remote location and solitude. And Crestone is a sweet town and the Sand Dunes are simply remarkable.

A comfortable cottage to stay in for the Sandhill Crane Festival. We loved the puzzles and the easy access to Monte Vista and Alamosa.

Michael is an excellent host, communicative, understanding and very helpful. This was our second time at his place and he always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. I am so grateful he shares this space for all to enjoy, the cabin is amazing and the view from the back porch is one of the best in NM. The space is extremely clean with plenty of room, has everything you need for a wonderful stay in a magical place. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend! The location was terrific, right on the river, and it was very beautiful and peaceful! The pictures don't do justice. It was perfect for the two of us, and our dog loved it! Check-in was a breeze and Lee was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

Awesome house! we nicked named it the grandpa house, cause it felt like grandma's house( also all the grandma brooms outside). Great house for the value. Beds were comfy, house was nice and toasty. A really nice place to stay. my only suggestion for Ella Mae, get the tub stopper fix ( still had a great shower) and have a handyman knock down the edges on the gate ( piece of tin was really sharp). My issues were minor. Really, a nice play to stay!
