Excellent location, quick easy walk to beautiful patrolled beach or to main street of village with many restaurants, Hotel & IGA. The view from the house was amazing ❤️ House was well apointed and spotless. The beds were comfy and the wifi appreciated by the kids! Communication A++++ Clear and easy instructions pre arrival made for smooth check in. Chris and Jacqui went above and beyond to check on us, to ask of needed anything, during a massive storm, then again when we were experiencing a blackout. They kept us undated with information from power company which was fantastic. Chris & Jacqui gifted us an extra night stay due to the unseasonably poor weather, which we gratefully accepted. Hands down our best airbnb experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We previously stayed at Tim's place last year and loved it so much, we went back again. There's not much in the way of shops and restaurants, so keep that in mind if that's important to you. But you can't beat the view and absoluter water frontage to the lagoon where the Minnamurra River meets the sea. Tim has very clear rules and instructions but is a hands-off kind of owner which again, suits us just fine. Taking all our own towels and linen feels like we are packing for a month even for just a few days but the flip side is you feel comfortable with all your own stuff. Like last time, we hired paddle boards from Andrew, a contact in Tim's amenities guide which created another idyllic day on the river. All in all, a great break just 1.5 hours from Sydney.

The grandkids were not only allowed but welcomed in that there were toys and beach stuff there for them. We didn't need to take the portable cot as one was provided which was better and bigger than the portable one so made more room in the car. The house was very comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect. Directly opposite a playground and the beach both of which we spent loads of time at. Found our new favourite picnic spot nearby, but the location will just have to be our secret. It was a very relaxing special place to be with our son and his family. Fluer also allowed our other son and his partner to visit.

Vic's place was ideal for our family of 4 to comfortably stay at and enjoy beautiful Shellharbour. We loved being able to walk to the beaches and the restaurants. The lounge on the front verandah was perfect to relax on in the shade.

The house was immaculate and spacious. We were warmly received and the house was welcoming and felt like home. John and Kerrie were lovely to talk to but we still had plenty of privacy and space. Our favourite things were the location and the front verandah was a hit, it’s was super relaxing and we think the best lawn in the street. Thanks so much for having us and 100% recommend.

My friends and I had a lovey stay at Amanda and Michael’s beautiful house. The position is amazing, right on the beach! Amanda communicated very well with us and was a generous host.

The house was beautifully presented and it came with all staples - oil, condiments, milk, spreads, sauces and more! The outdoor BBQ area was used well and as a family of 4, appreciated the 2 bathrooms. The location was beautiful, and although there were no water views from the house, a simple 5 min walk took you to water and spectacular views including the headland. We would definitely return to this house if we wanted to holiday in Minamurra again.

Great stay for our group of 6adults & 6kids (ages 5-15yrs). Lots of space for everyone to relax. The heated pool & spa was a hit - the outdoor bbq and alfresco was convenient to gather, eat and watch the kids. Easy walking distance to the playground and the marina with restaurants and a Woolies. Host was very responsive including organising an overnight delivery of some bin liners that the cleaners forgot to refill. House was spotless and all amenities listed on the listing were available. Would recommend and love to stay again.

Extremely nice place. Beautiful views and very clean. However I just wished that the jets worked on the pool and unfortunately it did not heat up. 3 beds were very hard to sleep on but overall a very nice place.

Loved the place all of us enjoyed our stay there. We had access to everything from the time we checked in. The beach was only a short stroll from the place, the location and the place exceeded what we hoped for, beautiful view and a palace to truly relax and enjoy, the place is carefully crafted to meet the needs of all of our guests, which is a wonderful and rare find. Little kids had a ball there, it was full of things for them to do and explore. House , garden, pool, basement and the beach close by , means many places for the busy bodies to keep exploring and to keep them occupied. A truly relaxing experience in a air bnb.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house is even better than described—spacious, immaculate, and so comfortable. The kitchen was a dream, stocked with every possible utensil and appliance we could need. Penny and Peter were incredible hosts-kind, responsive, and thoughtful. They added so many special touches that made us feel right at home. Our kids had an amazing time, they didn’t want to leave! We’d love to come back and highly recommend this listing to families or anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat.

The extra little personalised touches didn't go noticed, Michelle was super responsive and communicated exceptionally. Walking distance to the marina, great set up for the family we loved it and hope to be back again!

We loved staying at Wave Break. The house is beautiful, well furnished, with a great location and a brilliant view. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and offered advice and guidance to help our stay. The beach is only 100m walk away, with a nice playground as well. The kids loved exploring the beach and the rockpools. The beach is patrolled (swimming flags) from around Oct to May. There are some really cool playgrounds in the area, such as Reddall Reserve a 5 min drive away and has a fun ninja park component. We had a wonderful time staying here, it felt very up market and comfortable. We would love to stay here again in future.

Gemma’s airbnb was lovely. Cane as a group of 4 to play golf around the area. The property was located very conveniently and very spacious. Everything was well kept and clean, and they had a well stocked kitchen. Gemma and Ryan were great hosts, super friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and would recommend to others.

Staying at Mary’s lakeside home by Lake Illawarra was a delightful experience. Mary is a wonderfully friendly host, making the stay warm and welcoming. The house itself is extremely comfortable, clean and ideally located, offering easy access to both beautiful beaches and the tranquil lake. It was an enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the area. Looking forward to a return visit!”

What a beautiful home! The house is clean, family friendly and great for kids. We had 3 children with us during our stay from 5 month old to 6 years old and there was amenities provided for all ages. It's also an ideal location with the beach in walking distance and lookouts/shops in close driving distance. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
