Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchmans Bay is just outside your window. With spectacular 180 degree views of Frenchman's Bay and Mt. Desert Island, it is the perfect spot to enjoy the best of Maine. Located in the famous community of Hancock Point, it offers easy access to Acadia National Park and other attractions, in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Go hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking or just sit and watch the ever-changing view from the picture windows. This cottage has an open living/dining/kitchen area. Two large sliding glass doors look out onto the water. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, stove with microwave oven, kuerig, double sink, and ample counter space. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, glassware, silverware, cutlery and dinnerware, gas grill.The master bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed, ample closet space and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, (day bed with trundle), that are suitable for children or adults. Linens are supplied. NO smoking please. There is a TV with a blu-ray player, no cable and no wifi. If needed, there is a window AC unit. We recently added an outdoor shower with hot water. Because of the rock wall, (10' drop) this cottage may not be suitable for toddlers and younger children. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Located on the Schoodic Scenic Byway in Acadia/Bar Harbor region, our rustic pet-friendly 1BR cabins offer spectacular views. Features include one double bed with kitchen and bathroom. Simple, clean accommodations serve as your home base for exploring the beautiful property, shoreline and the bounties of our scenic local region. All cabins come equipped with basic provisions for a comfortable stay. Leave the distractions of modern day behind as you return to the way vacations were meant to be.

Raccoon Cove Waterfront Hideaway

The house is in a quiet private neighborhood on 1 acre of cove front property. There is an abundance of wildlife. Stairs lead down to the cove where you can walk the shore at low tide, birdwatch or hear fog horns. At high tide you can take our kayaks out. It's walking distance to Lamoine Beach Park and 35 min to Acadia. The classic but comfortable living space is all on the second level. Wifi & TV with cable, and air conditioning are all available. The basement/garage level has a washer/dryer.

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
