Song’s place was gorgeous. Perfect for a group 8. Had everything we needed in a great location!

A wonderful, spacious, well stocked home that was perfect for our group of two families (4A, 5C). Super close to the beautiful creek and beach, which is perfect for families. Self contained upstairs and downstairs gave some privacy for each family while still feeling like we were all together. Peaceful garden setting backing onto the creek (bonus; kayaks provided and it's very easy to kayak from the house to the creek by the beach). Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Quality inclusions throughout, which were just right - good quality but not so fancy that you have to worry the kids will break something priceless! No air conditioning and linen, but this helps keep it affordable. Driveway is steep and requires some skill to navigate as there are three driveways together and neighbours have asked that guests don't use their driveways to turn around. This was ok for us but if you were towing a trailer or not confident reversing it would be difficult. Would love to stay again!

Our stay in this lovely two bedroom home right on the canal in a quiet location was perfect. There is a tennis court and swimming pool at the site and the parking is very convenient right out front. The area is quiet and relaxing. The home is very clean and tidy it has every convenience you could need and very close to town. Will definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Judy and Phil’s place. The location is second to none, and the lake at the back door step is so picturesque and another great way to enjoy the home. We swam in the lake and kayaked from the backyard! Judy was very responsive and we felt very much at home. We’d love to return! Thanks Judy and Phil for helping us create some great family memories.

We had a fabulous stay here, the house is stunning and location is so peaceful. Beautiful view out of the balconies. The house had everything we needed for a big group - it has plenty of space, great layout so all of the bedrooms still felt private. Great recommendations for things to do when we arrived too. We particularly enjoyed going out on the kayaks! Lots of beautiful beaches nearby, the closest grocery store was just a few minutes drive. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our second time staying, such a beautiful location and great family house.

We’ve truly loved staying at Pete’s property over the past 3 years. It’s been the perfect getaway for our family and friends—a comfortable, well-equipped space where we’ve made some really special memories. The fantastic location,layout suited to groups, and affordability have all made it an easy choice that keeps us coming back. For the past 3 Easter long weekends, it’s become a tradition we genuinely look forward to. Each visit has offered a relaxing, enjoyable experience, and our most recent stay was no exception—perfect weather, great company, and another memorable weekend. What we’ve especially appreciated are the thoughtful touches and creature comforts that make staying here so easy—things like the highchair, baby gate, well-stocked kitchen, smart TV, and reliable Wi-Fi have all made a difference, especially when travelling with little ones or larger groups. Pete has always been a fantastic host—responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay — the perfect getaway from the city. The place is surrounded by nature, full of peace and quiet, and absolutely beautiful. The photos truly don’t do it justice! Everything is well taken care of, clean, and thoughtfully designed with lovely details. There are also plenty of water activities to enjoy, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. You can really feel the love that went into creating this space. It helped us disconnect, recharge, and truly relax.

We enjoyed our stay at Vicki and Lyle's place. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and place was really clean. There were really helpful clear instructions accompanied by photos on how to find the place and to get into the house. The location next to a lake and nearby walking track were a welcome bonus.

Peaceful, homely and unique stay. Our son and dog absolutely loved the place and it’s a great place to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature and each other. Tessa was quick and friendly and the check in process was simple. It’s a lovely area and community and the church is unique and fully equipped to cater perfectly to families, couples and pets :) we will be back! Thank you Tessa and family x

It was very easy dealing with Stephanie from booking to check out. Very welcoming and the cottage was clean and tidy. Beautiful property with horses and other live stock which we were free to interact with. We took our 2 dogs who had plenty of space to run around in the enclosed area in front of the cottage and the neighbouring paddock (free of other animals). Great experience and one I highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay! The Bach is cute and homely. The kayaks were great fun, and we explored the area. Beds super comfy, coffee machine great. Thank you a lovely stay Greer!

We had the most relaxing weekend at this beautiful little cottage. Clean, cosy and with all the luxuries you need. Felt like we were a million miles away. Cailtlin was the perfect host and very responsive. We definitely will be back.

Thanks for having us to stay Stav. We had a lovely, relaxing time in Currarong and surrounds. The girls loved the cool decor and accessories. Highlights were the local chickens (which we saw cross the road), kangaroos in the playground, rock pools and catching waves on your boogie boards, the local cafe down the road. We loved the Husky ferry and seeing dolphins jump in Huskisson, great scones and oysters close by and an afternoon horse riding. Lots of great family memories were made all with a comfortable place to come back to each night. Thanks again x

The Cottage is a quaint, clean comfortable waterside pad in which to enjoy the truly tranquil surrounds of Berowra Waters. Sue was a terrific, warm and friendly host. We were grateful for the pick up service, kayaks, tinnie and tips. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games. Highly recommended.

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

We’ve stayed before, it was again lovely

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

Liz and Larry are exceptional hosts. On arrival after settling in Liz and Larry introduced themselves and showed me where the kayaks were, supplied extra life jackets and gave me a general run down. I found them to be down to earth and friendly, whilst also professional and very respectful of privacy. The cabin is to the rear ( street side) with a little side access to the creek. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, everything you could need and thought has gone into what you will need /want for your stay. The kayaks are great and handy by the creek, plenty of outdoor seating, if I needed anything very responsive. Kitchen is great with everything well stocked to cook and clean. It rained for much of our stay, but that didn’t stop us enjoying the creek, beach, riding around, and enjoying the walks and waterfalls that the rain provided. Check in and check out is a breeze, I can’t wait to get back to my favourite place ever ( Patonga ) and Patonga cabin has the right price, and hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

Lovely peaceful spot, no traffic, train or watercraft noise, near the end of a culdesac on a quiet road. The studio is separate from the main house (by about 20m) and feels very private. We would come again. One issue was we couldn't get the aircon to blow warm, but Sak came over straight away and sorted it out (you have to have it on high fan, as well as heat and the correct temp). There are eating utensils and crockery enough for two people, as well as a fridge, kettle and toaster. Basically a lovely stay and a beautiful spot!

Peaceful propery to stay . The outlook from the property over bushland frequented by kangaroos was wonderful. We experienced wet weather for most of our stay, but the property had everything we needed ( except food) to make it a cosie and relaxing time.

A lovely retreat with kind hosts who completed the space with thoughtful details. A great location to explore the mountains, highly recommend!
