A unique and spacious house with two wonderful fire places (and plenty of wood), and a great big bath, to name a few highlights. Amber was excellent to communicate with, being very friendly and responsive. Also a lovely outlook, often spotting the local kangaroos. Thanks Amber - we really enjoyed our stay!

Ok, for those reading this review please do so knowing it is genuine, unsolicited and because I actually wanted to write a review about how wonderful our stay was. This is Melt and your host..... Melt is everything the other reviews say - yes, it's secluded, yes it's luxury, yes it's non pretentious, yes the rainshower that overlooks endless forest is magical and romantic, and yes you wake up to kangaroos hopping around in the forest to breathtaking sunrises as you sip a coffee in bed. (Hopefully made for you by your partner!) But let me talk about what is more important. The entire booking process was flawless. And attention to detail in every aspect, from HOW to actually get in, HOW to get there with clear directions, and WHO you are dealing with. A couple of hours from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane. The only thing you need to do when you arrive is unpack, smile, light the fire, and pour a relaxing glass of wine! Thankyou guys, this won't be the last time we visit!

Beautiful location; better than expected. The place was spotless, beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Lots to do for the kids; scooting along the creek, roasting marshmallows, board games, and Netflix and pool table for the adults. Would definitely stay again.

The house was a great place for a long weekend with the family. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. The location is very private and still close to town and all the attractions of the area. It was wonderful to stroll around the grounds early in morning. So much bird life! Rob was a superb host. All of his instructions were very clear and he communicated extremely well. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having 2 toddlers in a very homey accommodation was amazing. They as well as the rest of my family felt at right at home. Location is right next to a park where my kids would go down to and have a play and my parents enjoyed the crisp morning walk by the lake which is also so close. Thank you so much for hosting my family and I. Definately reccomend staying at Kilpa Cottage.

We were so happy with our stay. Paul was so lovely and made our stay very comfortable. The house was clean, cozy and in a great location. We would highly recommend this space.

We loved our stay at Sunday at Mirumiru. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Communication from Cathryn was excellent and so thoughtful, making sure our baby had a Portacot and the pups had their bowl. A beautifully styled home that makes you feel right at home, we especially loved the waffle maker and board games. Thank you Cathryn!

Chelsea's place was beautiful, it's an amazing place to stay and had everything we needed for a few nights. It's very close to the main st in town and east walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, the wine bar and Coles. We asked Chelsea a couple of questions and she responded very quickly.

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Wing Field Cabin! The highlight was definitely the stunning views and the abundance of wildlife – it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Absolutely amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay. The photos do not do the area justice, it is super beautiful. Cabin was very welcoming and very spacey for 2 people. Great amenities as well. Rachel was incredibly hospitable as well!

We absolutely loved our Easter weekend at the cabin. Slow mornings and cosy nights by the fire with the pooch, was the perfect escape from our busy lives. We had everything we needed and were so impressed with the quality of the cabin. It was our first time in the region so took up some of the recommendations from David and Emily’s welcome book, and they did not disappoint. The gnocchi from Vincenzo’s was 👌 thanks for having us 🍎🐾

The cottage and view was so peaceful. The host's are lovely people made us feel at home. We loved that we got to feed the cows and enjoyed some yummy fresh eggs. The cottage is beautiful inside everything you need for a realxing weekend away. ❤️

The Dairy was perfect in every aspect, just what we needed. A beautiful place, not far from town and other places to visit.

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Gorgeous, private and homely feeling cabin. Debbie and Alan were fantastic hosts and even gave us a tour of their place! So special. The climb to watch the beautiful sunset was super easy and not to be missed! We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the region.

Our third stay at The Lonesome and it was as lovely as always. The cabin really does feel like it embraces you in a warm hug. The timber interior, the flowers, the art work, the gorgeous bed linen and comfy bed, luxurious body products, homemade bread and freshly laid eggs, cosy fireplace inside and lovely fire pit outside. Oh and the donkeys and goats are an adorable bonus. The Lonesome is the perfect place to get away from it all. We will be back :)
